"There's no way I'm just going to spill my whole life story out to you strangers!" Legend growled.Time pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "That is not what I meant. I just think we should at least know each other a bit to gain some semblance of trust."
Chosen sighed. The group were lounging about in one of their rooms trying to sort out the situation they were in. He was becoming exhausted with the energy he was straining on to be engaged in the conversation. He could feel a slight headache coming on.
"Look. Here's an example. I am a rancher, I grew up amongst the Kokiri, I have defeated Ganondorf, this would be my third quest. Things of that sort." Time explained.
"I'm also a rancher," Twilight offered. "I grew up in a place called Ordon, I have only gone on one other quest before this. Oh and I also defeated Ganondorf."
"Fine. If we're all going to be doing this, I might as well get it over with." Legend huffed as he leaned forward in his seat. "I... Nope! Screw this! This is stupid!" He exclaimed as he stood up and exited the room.
Chosen massaged his temples with a grimace. His headache wasn't just a slight one anymore.
"Time," Chosen asked politely, "May I be excused?"
The man nodded.
"Are you alright?" Sky inquired from his side.
"I will be. I think I just need some rest. Don't worry.'' He patted the boy's shoulder before he left.
As he closed the door he overheard Four ask, "You seem to trust each other pretty well. Why is that?"
His protege softly replied, "I'm not quite sure honestly. It just feels natural. Maybe we just got off on the right foot?"
With an slow exhale Chosen continued on to his room.
Thoughts. So many thoughts. They tumbled around and beat against his skull. Thoughts of how the day transpired, the other heroes, how this was seemingly impossible...
He crashed onto his bed in exhaustion. Rubbing his temples, he attempted to massage away the thoughts that ailed him.

When Chosen opened his eyes once more he sat up in shock. When did he fall asleep?
To his bewilderment, he awoke to the motherly touch of the red rays of dawn and the cool wet dew dampening his clothes. Why was he outside even?
He had no memory of this place. The scent was different from the land he once was walking in.
Glancing around, he found his belongings where he had left them the night before except now in tall grass and not on wooden floorboards.
With more searching, out of the corner of his eye he spotted a figure rising from the grass. The figure's ponytail swept back and forth as they took note of their surroundings. The silhouette bounded toward him apparently discovering his presence.
"Oi! Chosen!" Wild cried as slid to a halt before him. "I think this is my place... time. If you know what I mean. Time said the last place we were at was his time."
"Huh... Traveling through time. That makes sense and also absolutely does not make any sense whatsoever," Chosen sighed in resignation. Wild nodded in agreement.
"I get what you mean."
"What's the matter?" Chosen asked the clearly distressed teen, who was dragging his fingers through his bangs and acting like he wanted to look everywhere at once, in concern.
"I just can't believe that I accidentally fell asleep out here in the open. The land of Hyrule is dangerous enough in the day," the scarred boy laughed nervously.
A tired grumble drew their attention.
"So it wasn't a dream," Legend muttered from where he stood adjusting his hat. "I don't know whether to be relived or disappointed."
"Mornin' ray of sunshine," the captain jeered from a little ways away.
"I'm disappointed."
