Our Second Date (I think)

Prince Andrew's Pov

    I am very nervous I think Melony can tell do to the fact that I'm blushing. I am really embarrassed I feel like a girl right now. I guess its a good thing that I'm nervous especially if she is laughing. I don't know what it is but I love her laugh its like music to my ears.

"So where are we going" Melony asks me. I think about for a minute wondering if I should tell her yet but decide against it.

    I reply by saying "Somewhere I go when I need time away from the drama of royalty." With that we fall into a comfortable silence and I am glad when when we get to where we are going. Its this little cottage in the woods that I found." I hope you like it, it was my mother's but I use it as a sort of art studio." I found this cottage when I was little and I told my mom she told me it was hers so I come here a lot. My father built it for her during the selection. He built it in secret then he asked her to meet him at that spot and he proposed to her at the doorway where we are standing.

"You like art, that is so cool I love art too even though I really never showed anyone I chose singing as my job"she tells me. She looks kind of upset about it and I guess something happened.

"Why wouldn't you choose art if you love it"I ask. She looked like she was about to cry so now I'm even more curious.

"It destroys people I've seen it happen firsthand"she tells me. I wonder what happened for her to know this but I wont ask. I really don't want to see her cry right now. I look away knowing I can't do anything if she does starts crying because I don't know how to handle emotional women.

Then as if reading my thoughts she says "You can ask I can tell that you want to but are trying not to be rude." I look away trying to decide if I should ask her.

"Ok, so will you tell me what happened"I ask trying to sound gentle.

She takes a deep breath before saying "My older brother chose art as his profession and he is twenty three and is about to go bankrupt I miss the old him he was so fun and carefree now he basically shunned us as his family."

"Im sorry about that,"I say to her "but I am here if you need anything." I give her my most genuine smile and look at her face.

"Thank you"she returns the smile and looks at the ground. I can't help the chuckle that escapes my lips. I just can't help it though she was just so adorable when she gets all shy and stuff.

"Let's go inside it's bigger than you think" I tell her. When I opened the door for her, her jaw dropped when we walked inside. I guess she does like it considering she isn't saying anything or moving.

           Melony's Pov

     This place was beautiful on the inside and it was huge but cozy. I looked at Andrew and saw he was watching me with an expression of awe. I couldn't help it I blushed but what he did next surprised me. He leaned in and his lips touched my it was slow and I felt fireworks this was amazing. It felt like he pulled away all to soon for my liking. "Sorry you looked really beautiful and I just had the urge to kiss you....."but I cut him off before he could finish.

"That was perfect so please don't be sorry"I say. He starts blushing and scratches the back of his neck like he is nervous once again."Would you like to go on a picnic"he says. I was wrong I guess this day can definitely get better that what I thought.

"I would love to lets go"I say while dragging him out of the cottage. This is gonna be so much fun.
