What?Under attack

Melony's Pov

When I came face to face with Andrew I definitely wasn't expecting him to kiss me in front of his parents and Gavril but I guess I was wrong. You want to know why because that's exactly what he did. Now I wasn't complaining it was perfect but in front of the king and queen really. When he pulled away he said " You look stunning and I didn't expect you to say what you said but im glad you did."

Then before I could reply a shrill siren went off and next thing I know guards are running straight for us pulling us down to the Royal safe room. "Andrew whats going on" I ask him as he's dragging me down a dim lit hallway.

"Rebels are attacking the palace you will be with me and my parents but the rest of the girls will be in our second royal room"he says trying not to slow down. Finally we get to the end of a corridor and he presses a button that makes the wall slide open. Next thing I know the guards are ushering us in and the wall is clicking back in place.

"How long do you think we will be down here"I can't help but ask.

"A few hours probably, I'm not really sure though"he says. I guess we will just have to sit and wait.

Prince Andrew's Pov

We have been in the safe room for about three to four hours now and I can't help but think what if Melony wants to leave because of the attack. I glance at her and see she is watching me her eyes filled with concern. "Are you ok Andrew you seem kind of like you got a lot on your mind"she asks. I hear my mother gasp because Melony just called me Andrew which apparently is a big no no but Melony isn't paying her any attention her gaze is fixed on me.

I finally take a deep breath and say "What if you decide to leave after this because we were attacked I don't want you to go." I look up at her and see she is fighting back tears. I start to panic "Whats wrong did I say something I'm sorry if I did are you ok." The next thing she does surprises me she starts to laugh and I am just confused at whats happening. I look at my parents for help but they are just shaking their heads like they are trying not to laugh.

Once Melony calms down she says "I wont leave I still have things to do here silly and besides im not scared of those rebels it takes a lot more to scare me." I am so happy she said that I know we haven't known each other long but i feel like I already love her but I still have to keep my options open.
