The Selection

A Picnic and Fun

      Melony's Pov

    I can't believe that we kissed and here we are on a picnic. He brought everything I like and I couldn't help but ask " How did you know what I like." There was little ham sandwiches, strawberries dipped in chocolate and apple juice how cute. I looked up at him with a curious face waiting for him to answer.

          "Actually I didn't I just brought my favorite things and hoped you liked what I brought"he says truthfully. I couldn't help but giggle at him that is so cute.

         "Wow so lets eat and after Andrew would you like to maybe watch a movie"I ask sounding nervous and I can feel my cheeks heat up.

         "I would love to"he says then digs into the food. Man I love this food even though it makes me sick.

          When we finished eating we packed up the picnic and headed back towards the maze. Its beautiful in here I can spend all my time here. "So do you know when we will have the first interview"I ask Andrew I am really nervous about the interview because I have never been on TV before. So I really just want to be prepared.

           "Well actually I have to eliminate five to ten girls by next Friday and then that Saturday is the first live interview"he explains to me. Oh man I forgot all the interviews are live I'm so dead.

           "Oh my I guess you have a lot of dates this week"I say trying not to sound jealous.

          "Nope actually I have had about ten girls come and beg me to go home so I will send them home, besides I didn't see myself having a future with any of them so I don't feel bad"he tells me. Aww he doesn't want to hurt anybody that is so sweet.

          "Well at least they were honest and told you they wanted to go home"I say.

          "Yeah they were already married off to guys that they absolutely loved and I am glad they found love"he says with a gleam in his eyes.

           I tried to think of what he meant but instead just say "Just be glad you didn't have to break anyones heart yet." I could see a flash of something in his eyes but it was gone just as quick.

           "Im actually not looking forward to that part of this I mean they come and end up with a broken heart, come on though really what would you do if I sent you home"he says. I think that definetly struck a nerve in me.

          "Well I would be devastated because we spend so much time together and I think I like you but you rarely spend time with half the girls so you have nothing to worry about unless your going to send me home"I say trying to keep myself from letting tears slide down my face.

          "No no I would never send you home your different and I like that so please don't cry I am not very good with emotional women"he states. That was sweet and before I can say anything his lips cover mine in a sweet but passionate kiss. When we pull away we are both breathing heavily and I can tell I'm blushing.  He just kisses me at really random times but I'm not complaining.

        "We should g-get back its almost t-tea t-time for a-all the ladies"I say trying not to stutter but failing miserably. I look away and hear him let out a low chuckle that caused me to shiver I swear he is gonna be the death of me.

        "Ok lets get going and I um I had fun on our date"he says while scratching the back of his neck and blushing. He is just so handsome with his dimples. I want to pinch his cheeks they are so cute. I can't help but like him he is so nice to me. But for now I will just have to get through the rest of the selection. Yay I'm just so excited (please note the sarcasm).
