This is a bit late but this is a SPOILER WARNING, I might hint some of the characters work on their time skip :)

Also, you guys will be dealing with Y/N's time skips a lot, since it'll be longer, boring, and hard if I try to lessen the time skips

"Y/N, are you sure you're not sleepy yet? We can just continue this call tomorrow you need to rest" Shoyo from the other line of the call said as both of you have been talking for hours now and it's now almost 1 am in Japan.

"Yeah I'm not yet sleepy but I think I need to go now, I have morning classes tomorrow," you replied, Shoyo hummed in response and told you to sleep. It has been a year since Shoyo went to Brazil to learn about beach volleyball and your routine pretty much includes calling him every time you get home. You were trying to talk to him consistently while he's still not that busy.

You sighed and stretched your arms letting out a small groan "You stayed up too late for someone who has exams tomorrow" Yachi commented while covering herself with a blanket, getting ready to sleep.

You and Yachi became roommates as soon as you entered college, the course you took was the same as your senpai, Ennoshita which was BSPT (BS in Physical therapy, since their courses were never mentioned I just guessed that this was the one the Enno took since he's a PT now) while Yachi, of course, took something about designs and company.

Instead of going to sleep, you opened your books once again and started reading every lesson that will be on the exams. You continued to review that you didn't even notice that Yachi already woke up from her sleep and it is now 5 am in the morning.

"Y/N please tell me you slept and you woke up early to review, pretty please?" she said still rubbing her eyes and yawning.

You gave her a chuckle "Alright then, I slept don't worry" you replied and both of you knew that it was a lie, but Yachi didn't want to stress herself with your messy sleep schedule so she just sighed and got up from her bed to prepare for school.

"Since you didn't sleep, you cook for breakfast today" you nodded as a response, she was giving you a punishment though for you that was merely a punishment for a naughty girl like you, you actually enjoy cooking breakfast as food for it is so easy to cook.

With the fresh but cold wind entering the opened windows, you hugged and rubbed your hands against yourself.

"A hot chocolate would be good for today" you whispered to yourself, nicely putting your hair in a bun you started to cook portions of bacon and fried rice. And as soon as it was done Yachi came out of the bathroom.

"It's all done, you can eat first while I go prepare myself," you told her which she obediently followed.

Unfortunately, she also had to go first so you were left alone in your apartment, while eating you heard a notification from your phone.

Enno:

Hey, I'm about to go down, you still in your apartment? Wanna go together? Should I pick you up?

Y/N:

Yeah please do

In addition to being with the same course, Ennoshita also lives in the same building as you, in fact, he was the one who helped you guys get the apartment. He was only 2 floors away so every time that there's an emergency it was always him who you girls call.

Minutes after sending the message, you heard a knock, it was him and so you quickly picked up your things and ran outside.

"Who's chasing you? Or are you that excited? Calm down woman, it's just me" he joked.

You rolled your eyes at him "Excuse you, sir, may I remind you I'm taken" you answered cheekily.

He laughed and snatched the books away from your hands "May I remind you that there are people who fall for someone else even though they're taken"

"yikes that's just... disgusting Enno, stop" you cringed and nudged his sides.

"It's senpai for you, respect me at least"

For the past years, your relationship with Ennoshita improved that it doesn't matter anymore if he's one year older than you, both of you were really close friends to the point where you'd insult, hit, and reprimand each other.

"Are you done with your repetitive jokes? Oldie you need to upgrade them, they're getting old just like you" you teased, true enough Ennoshita is really bad at making jokes, insults, pick-up lines, and basically everything that's fun. You discovered it in your second-year high school, you first thought that it might be because he's the serious type but no, he admitted that he's not the serious type, he just became one since he's really bad at doing those kinds of things.

"Hey, I got it I'll stop, just don't attack me and my lines you know how hard I work and think for it" with that you laughed at his response.

Both of you continued the conversation until you reached your classroom, you thanked him and he just patted your head as a goodbye.

"Are you sure he's not your boyfriend?" Elle, your classmate as well as your seatmate, asked you for the hundredth time.

You sat down and leaned your back at your chair "Nah, he's just a really close friend of mine, my boyfriend knows him" you explained once again.

Elle just nodded and continued to mind her own business not until you heard a cheeky laugh behind you.

"Hah, so that's not your boyfriend? But just a close friend? No friends are that close, aren't you just cheating at this point? Who even is your boyfriend? Do you have one or you just said you have so the boys could leave you alone? It ain't working anymore give it up~" of course how could you forget? Kazuma's your classmate on this subject, the boy you rejected last year. (Kazuma's older than Y/N, but the situation here is that he's repeating this class that he failed)

You silently cursed, he really just doesn't know when to stop just because you rejected him, he started messing with you after that. "Shut up, your team literally lose against my boyfriend's team on volleyball years ago, my friend rejected your friend, you're repeating a class and lastly I rejected you last year, and yet you still have the face to talk shit? What a try-hard" was what you wanted to say but you just whispered it to yourself since you don't have the strength to make a scene. Elle who heard it laughed quietly. "I'll be waiting for the day that you'll be able to say that"

"Your point is?" you questioned him.

"Is that you're a trash and a try-hard" he replied proudly and that was when you lost it, you laughed so hard that you started tearing up while he stood there agitated.

You patted his shoulder while wiping the tears on your eyes "Gotta admit that one, though I'm pretty sure my boyfriend won't agree to it so let's keep it a secret, eh?"
