-Marlene's POV-
I watch as Rayne walks off I smiled to myself maybe Snape isn't so bad for her after all. I walk downstairs to the common room and was greeted by everyone.
" Hey guys"
"Hi Marlene" Lily says "Where is Rayne"
"Oh" I smiled to myself "she's just hanging out with a friend" James shot up looking at me wide-eyed
"Who may this friend be" I realize where this is going and so does everyone else
" Why does it matter," I say Remus and Sirius look at each other and then look at an angry James tuned
"Does this person start with an S?" he asked waiting for my answer I knew if said yes he would track Rayne down.
"I don't Know she said she was studying with a friend""As long as it isn't Snivelus I'm ok" I start getting aggravated because he doesn't realize how happy Snape makes Rayne.
"You shouldn't care your little sister happy"
"This is unbelievable I don't know how you guys are all OK with her hanging out with Snivelous, Slime Ball, Grease Head" he then looks up and looks at Lily.
" Lily you got to back me up here like what the bloody hell ?!" lily takes a deep breath and sighs
"James I do agree with you in the beginning. I wasn't too fond of the idea of them hanging out but she seems to enjoy hanging out with him. I mean how many times have you seen him form a genuine smile" nobody takes for a couple of minutes until I speak up
"Jame I get it she's your Little sister your going to always want to protect her but she seems genuinely happy with him. And between you and I, I think eventually they will become more than just friends" James fake gagged and then spoke up
"I know, I know I just don't want her to get hurt. I will give him one chance. He better not blow it" he then says that he and Sirius, Remus, and Peter have some 'business' to attend I just hope that business doesn't evolve Rayne. I sit back on the couch and let out a breathe I didn't know I was holding and look at Lily.
"I hope they don't do something they regret," Lily says I nod my head in agreement.
