Grace's point of view

"I'm sorry Jonah." I say and walk out of the theater and walk to the other guys.

"Hey Grace, where's Jonah?"m Jack asked me as I walked up to the car.

"Oh...um..he had to go to the bathroom, he will be right out." I came up with a lie the best I could.

Jonah's point of view

I watch her turn around and walk away. Leaving me in the empty theater all alone.

I sit back down on one of the seats and put my head in my hands.

How could I be so stupid, she just got out of a relationship. It was too soon to start anything.

After I sat in silence with only my thoughts. I pick myself up and walk out of the building.

When I see the guys I try my best to act like nothing happened.

"Ready to go?" Zach asked.

"Yep!" I fake a smile and get into the driver's seat.

Grace got into the back seat behind me.

"Grace don't you wanna sit up front?" Daniel asked her.

"No I'm fine thanks, you can have it." She answers him.

After only a few minutes into the drive they started noticing something is off.

"What happened while you guys were inside?" Corbyn asks us.

"Umm...well..." I don't know if we should tell them or not.

"Nothing, I just lost an earring and Jonah was helping me find it." she said plainly.

'I guess that answers my question.' I think to myself.

The rest of the ride back to the house everyone was joking and singing except for Grace and me.

Grace's point of view

We got back to the house and were just hanging out. It was nice just laying around sharing funny stories and not having anything to do, these guys feel like family to me. Jonah and I have kept our distance and avoided eye contact the whole time we have been home.

"Remember that one time Zach could say apocalypse?!" Jack says laughing so hard he could barely even get the words out.

"Really Zach?!" I laugh.

"Shut you you guys!" Zach shoots back looking embarrassed.

Just as Zach was about to say something else my phone started to ring.

I took my phone out of my pocket to see who it was.

"Oh it's my mom, I'll be right back." I say and walk to Jonah's room and shut the door.

G: Hey mom, what's up?
Mom: Not much honey, just calling to say hi, I feel like we haven't talked in forever!
G: Yeah me too, sorry I have been super crazy busy.
Mom: So how are things, how's Mason?
G: um..about that..
Mom: What is it honey?
G: Mason and I broke up, he was cheating on me.
Mom: What! Are you serious, I thought you guys were doing great?
G: Me too, but I guess not
Mom: So are you still staying at his apartment?
G: No I'm actually staying with some friends. They said I can stay with them until I get my life sorted out.
Mom: Do I know them, I didn't know you had met any girls to be friends with in LA.
G: Well mom, they are actually guys, five of them.
Mom: Oh I see, how are they treating you?
G: They are really nice and they feel like my
family here in LA.
Mom: I'm glad you found some good friends you can rely on. Are any of them cute?
G: Mom! I just got out of a relationship. I can't think of anyone like that.
Mom: Why not? Mason is out of the picture, why waste time thinking about him when you can be out living your life. Don't waste time thinking about what you lost when you can be thinning about what you can have.
G: That's a good point, but I just need more time.
Mom: Don't take too much time, or you will regret it. I love you
G: I love you too mom, bye.

I end the call with my mom and lay down on the bed.
