Cold in LA

Chapter 20

~In the car~

"That was a lot of fun!" Jonah says as he pulls out of the parking lot.

"Yeah it was! So what's next on today's adventure?" I ask hoping he will slip up and tell me what he has planned.

"We are gonna go home and change then we are going somewhere, before you ask no I won't give you a hint." he says and shoots me a smirk.

We get to the house and Jonah gestures for me to walk to our room. I look at him confused but walk into the room with no questions.

I turn on the light and see Jonah had a beautiful blue dress with flower print on the top and all of the accessories laid out on the bed for me.

"This is so cute!" I yell and give him a hug.

"I'm glad you like it babe! Now get dressed, we need to leave in 30 minutes." he kisses my forehead and walks out of the room.

'Man, he has good fashion taste.' I think to myself as I look at the dress Jonah picked out for me. I hurry and fix my makeup and put my hair into a bun.

"You ready Grace?" I hear Jonah yell.

"Yeah just give me one second!" I yell back and do my lipstick and grab my purse.

"You take so long to get ready!" he laughs from outside the door.

"Hey at least I don't take as long as Zach!" I laugh as I walk out of the room.

I see Jonah standing in the door frame in a black suit and tie. His eyes wide and speechless.

"What is it my hair?" I ask, thinking I had messed up because I was rushing.

"You look beautiful." He says simply.

I can feel my face turn hot, "You don't look too bad yourself." I smile at him and walk closer and fix his tie.

His hands slowly move to my lower back and pulls me into a soft kiss.
