"hello everyone! welcome to the first ever episode of Total Drama: Island! I'm your amazing looking host, Chris Mclean." Chris was starting his intro to the first installment of this new show. I was just hired. I needed some time away from home. I love the family, but gosh they can get on my nerves. it's not everyday I get to work on my passion, cooking. just between you and me, I'm not good. like at all. but, these kids and producers don't need to know that. I was gonna set up the kitchen, but I decided to watch Chris start and get a look at these incoming losers. I hadn't met Chris yet, but he sounded kinda cute. come on, Chef. get your head in the game! I thought to myself. I mean, I'm here to cook, not find love. duh.
when Chris was done, he walked up to me. he asked me my name and actually gave me a hug. me! mean ol' chef (as I would soon be called) got a hug! who would've ever thought. when he gave me that hug, I felt something I haven't ever felt before. I didn't know if it was love, surely it couldn't have been. I ran to the kitchen and couldn't wipe the goofy grin off my face, even after thinking about the disgusting homeschooled kid for five minutes straight.
little did I know, this wouldn't be the first time I felt this way.
