where we are now: chef

it has been 13 years of absolute bliss. Chris and I have been falling more in love everyday. thanks to being in Canada, we got married! we tied the knot on our fifth anniversary. we invited the original cast of TD along with some friends and family. the interns couldn't make it. we just assumed they weren't dead. we had an amazing honeymoon. you may think this is a joke, but it's not. we were able to go to Camp Wawanakwa; the very place our love began.

fast forward about three years, Chris and I began to feel empty. I will never forget the conversation we had. "hey, uh- Chef?"
"what is it, my little bugger?" I remember being scared. he sounded so nervous. I thought he was gonna tell me he was getting arrested! again!
"I have something to ask."
"shoot."
"Chef, I love you and all, but we're missing something. I think-" I cut him off. I knew exactly what he wanted.
"yes."
"what?! you don't even know what I was going to ask!"
"little bugger," I said, staring deep into his gorgeous black orb-like eyes. "I would love nothing more than to have a baby with you. wether that's through surrogacy, adoption, or whatever option we find, I want it. I want it with you."
"Chef," he sniffed, tears falling down his perfect skin. "thank you." and with that, he broke down into happy tears.
"don't worry about it, my love," I say while holding him close.
"hey!" he said suddenly. "you didn't let me finish my question! and THAT'S NOT COOL DUDE!!!" and with that, we were laughing again.

we have two children now, Owen and Beth. yes, we named them after the winners after the winners of the first two seasons. (very sorry if that's a spoiler :( back to the story!) ever since we welcomed them to our home, we have felt nothing but joy. we may have more, we may not.

present day now. I'm with my wonderful husband and kids, loving my life. the pandemic was definitely challenging. Owen was supposed to start kindergarten and Beth preschool. we did our best homeschooling, and may I just say, like every guardian that had to do the same, we killed it.

that was our life up to this point. I hope you enjoyed our love story and have one similar <3.

seriously, thank you so much. i don't know if it's just my friends reading this over and over or other people, but thank you. i started this after joking about writing a story with my friends and someone said "chris x chef" and i just had to. this whole book is obviously a joke, but it was so fun to write. hopefully you'll read the next one i do if i ever do another one. i had an idea for "vape commercial guy x metal monster" so that may be happening. we'll see. let me know if that's something you think would be cool. ok. for the last time in this book, goodbye!
