Author's Point of View

Your sorrowful eyes reflected in Enji's cyan eyes. "Y/N..." Enji whispers once again. You avert your eyes from his gaze, staring down at your lap. "Can everyone give us a minute?" You whisper. You miss the way that Shigaraki and Dabi both turn their gaze to Enji. Keigo clicks his tongue, he was also annoyed at the statement. "If that is what you want." He mutters. 

Keigo was the first to make his way to the door, Dabi and Shigaraki movements were very slow. Their eyes boring into Enji's soul, It made a shiver go down Enji's spine. He felt uncomfortable but never showed it. His expression stone-cold and plain while he waited for them to leave. Once the door closed with a click is when his expression soften. 

"Are you sure your-" You cut him off, your dull eyes glance up at him. "Enji," Your voice was soft and it filled Enji with a longing he never felt before. He bit his bottom lip to keep himself in check but seeing you in the hospital bed just provoked something in him. "I'm so sorry." He blurts out. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Enji's tongue leaves his mouth to lick the dry cracks in his lips. 

"I should have told you. You deserve the right to know because you were trying to help me. But I ruined everything. I ruined it all." He whispers, falling down onto his knees before you. "Can you ever forgive me? I know I am trash, disgusting. And I do not deserve forgiveness, Love, a family, and definitely not you. But please, I need you." Enji cries out. 

You blink slowly, the whole act caught you off guard. The big bad Enji was on his knees for you. He was crying for you. You knew you shouldn't feel so powerful but the thought did give you a rush. You were going to forgive him but then you thought. 'Did he ever do this to his kids? His own ex-wife? Did he ask for their forgiveness?' 

You held your head high and glared down at Enji with the small muster of fury you had left. "No, I will not forgive you. Did you even do such a thing with your own family? You are so quick to ask for my forgiveness, What about the people you actually hurt? The people that had changed because of your wrath? Did they forgive you? Did you even ask them?" Each word-breaks Enji's heart because he didn't. 

He did ask for his kid's forgiveness but the only one that forgave him was Fuyumi. And he had yet to talk to Rei, who was in the hospital to this day. "I didn't think so. And when you leave can you send Keigo, Tomura, and Dabi in?" You asked while Enji got off his knees. He silently nodded, his jaw clenched. 

He had to fix this and soon.
