Chapter 3: Dunking for Dinner

"Good morning contestants are you ready to play Dunking for Dinner," TJ asked and everyone cheered. "One of the teammates will be dunked into water with their arms above their head while being attached to a crane. Teammate number two will be in charge of the crane and moving disks from one circle to another while dunking your partner. That is the first phase of the challenge then for the second phase of the challenge whoever was dunked will now be eating as much food as they can being each disk their partner collected equaling the amount of food they can eat. Now to make things even more fun the team that eats the least amount of food in fifteen minutes will be purged straight to Redemption," TJ said which caused a few people to freak out. I looked straight back at Hunter as if telling him what was going to happen without saying a word. Hunter nodded and smiled at me before squeezing my hand. "Alright teams I need all my partners who are being dunked to be over here so that we can get you hooked up to the crane and ready to go into the water," TJ said as I squeezed Hunter's hand before walking over to where TJ told us to be and got ready to be strapped in.

"Wait so itty bitty Katrina is about to be dunked and then challenge everyone in the eating contest? I guess we know exactly who is going to redemption before we even start," Kayleigh said to Sylvia while looking over at me and not releasing I can hear her ;however, Banana's heard exactly what she said and decided to speak first.

"Hey Kayleigh I wouldn't say anything about her size and about the amount of food she can consume. Little miss Katrina here can out eat everyone I know because she is determined to be the best at all times. Pissing her off just gives her more motive to win and then send you straight to redemption as soon as she got the chance," Banana's said. As the competition kept moving forward and we finished the first phase I realized that Hunter and I had the most disk so that gave us the best possibility to win. As phase two started and I started to eat everything I was seeing everyone eating so much I was panicking about not eating enough and letting Hunter down.

"Hey Kat, you're doing amazing and just keep going I promise you that I'm proud of you for all that you have eaten so far," Hunter said which motivated me to eat even more and at this point I had only three more trays to finish to eat all of the disks amount. I was eat my second to last tray when the horn sounded. I was so worried that I let Hunter down and I really wanted to show him I could do it. I mean I wasn't full yet but I just felt like I let him down. Before I could even sulk anymore Hunter came over and hugged me lightly and kissed my forehead. "If we win we win, if not we will figure it out," Hunter said.

"Alright everyone that was a tough competition now I would like to say it was close but it wasn't. There was one team that took the challenge by storm and absolutely killed it. The team single handily or one person of the team single handily kicked this challenges ass. Now my top three teams were Hunter and Katrina, Bananas and Tony, and Nelson and Shane. The winning team with the most food eaten was Hunter and Katrina. Now Hunter and Katrina you will need to send one team directly to redemption," TJ said as I looked at Hunter who nodded and smiled at me.

"TJ we already have our team picked Kam and Kayleigh pack your shit and get to stepping," I said with a little way and then TJ nodded and said,

"Kam and Kayleigh you will be staying with me while everyone else is going to get on the bus and head back to the house." We all climbed onto the buses and headed back to the challenge house. I took a nap on Hunter since I was tired from dangling and eating.

Hunter's P.O.V.

"She really won that challenge a today and totally kicked ass," Nelson said to me as I was holding the sleeping Katrina in my lap while stroking her hair.

"She was really worried that she would cause us to lose today. She always does amazing so it doesn't surprise me that she kicked ass at another challenge today. I mean she always does her best I mean can you believe she only has a year of rounds left and she'll be a doctor. Like we've been together just under three years and she's been striving to be better the entire time. Like she makes me feel like I don't do enough sometimes," I said to Nelson who just nodded while we continued to talk about Katrina and the future as she slept.
