FInal Reckoning: the challenge love story

Chapter 1: here comes chaos

Here, we go being entered as one of the first twist of the season. Last season for vendettes we sat out to taken on out normal lives. Now here we are back at the challenge and I am on summer break from my medical school. "I hope you guys have it in you to 'Dig Deep' because I'm bringing in a team to go against Angela and Faith in this elimination round. This mercenary duo is one of the most talked about and fierce due to play the challenge together. If they beat the challenger that are currently in the Armageddon then they will be coming into the game. So come on in," TJ said as Hunter and I walked in through the opening and we heard everyone react to us coming into the show late. "Challengers say hello to your mercenaries Katrina and Hunter, the duo that stormed dirty thirty," TJ said which caused some smiles and some people to not be very happy. "Now Angela and Faith you will be competing against Hunter and Katrina. Winner will return to the house and continuing in the game the loser will be sent to the redemption house to then fight for a way to get back in the challenge. Now let's get everyone ready to battle it out." TJ said which caused everyone to get into places.

"Hunt, we've got this just remember to listen and we will make it through," Katrina said to Hunter as they got set and before the horn blew. The challenge was going on and people were cheering everywhere and a lot of people were cheering for Angela and Faith which makes sense because they've been in the house longer. It's not long before TJ blows the horn signaling that the game is over.

"Alright that was a quick round and we have to congratulate Hunter and Katrina since you will be joining the house. Sorry to Angela and Faith you will be heading to the redemption house. Now challenger head home and we will be having our next challenge in a few days," TJ says and that was when Hunter and I got congratulated by everyone before returning to the house. Nelson and Cara approached Hunter and I.

"You didn't tell me that you were coming back this season and we just talked right before I left to come here. You also just missed CT he got send home two weeks ago," Cara said as she hugged me.

"I didn't know if we were going to come out I mean I can't be out here long because I have to get back to classes and medical school," I said as I looked at them smiling while Hunt pulled me close and kissed my forehead. "He didn't want to come out here by himself because the challenge always tests his patience and he didn't want to leave Shadow at home with me while I was stressing about medical school," I said as I moved to kiss Hunter.

"Hey! Now we are both here so that's good. Anyways we are hoping this season moves quickly so that we can get back home to Shadow and so Kat can make it back to when her next session of medical school starts up," Hunter said while looking at the other two.

************* Katrina's Confessional***********

So here I am back at the challenge house after being away and working in a hospital for two years while being in medical school so that I could learn a lot of lessons. Hunter and I live together and are working out of Dallas while living at the ranch with Shadow and the horses. While we are both here at the challenge CT's wife and little Chris will be watching and taking care of the horses and the dog.

************Hunter's Confessional*************

What's up the challenge, I'm back and of course I brought my girl with me. Now we are both going to stay here and make it to another finale so that we can win more money. Before I send her off to finish medical school and she'll be a doctor. Who knows may even propose to her before then so she can have her last name on her medical licenses. I mean it's been almost 3 years together so why not now.

"Hey Nelson, can I talk to you," Hunter said to Nelson who nodded and the two walked away while leaving Cara there with me.

"So, what's really been going on if Hunter is running to talk to Nelson something big most be happening," Cara said to me as we were sitting there on the couch talking and some other girls came over to talk to Cara but mostly through insults at her.

"Well excuse me little bitches, especially you Amanda. I thought we were cool why are you coming for Cara's head? So what Cara disagrees with something that you think was the correct way to do things. That doesn't mean you are allowed to be a complete bitch to her. Anyone of you guys need to check yourself before we have more issues," I said addressing the girls in the room that were picking at Cara Maria.

"Hello Ms. Princess I didn't know you were coming in to be the one in charge and to be all high and mighty. So why don't you explain to me why you can be in charge of how people can speak to others as soon as they get into this house on your first day as we have been here for multiple days," Amanda snapped back at me as I was standing there. I was not about to fight with Hunter's best friend because she was being psychotic.

Hunter's P.O.V.

I was walking away from Cara Maria and Katrina with Nelson to run the idea that had been floating in my head past him. "So I need to run something past you and you can't freak out about it," I said looking over at Nelson and he nodded. "I'm going to ask Katrina to marry me after this season of the challenge is over and once we wrap filming. We've been together for almost three years and we've lived together our entire relationship. It's been an amazing relationship and I really think she is the one," I said to Nelson who was just grinning like a cat.

"She will say yes," Nelson said before smiling largely at me. Before I could open my mouth to speak again I felt arms snake around me so I turned to see my Katrina right there.

"Hi Katrina, how has conversing with everyone gone? Had a good time catching up with everyone," Nelson asked?

"Whelp Amanda is trying to get into a screaming match with me because I defended my friend Cara which is wonderful. I decided that I was going to be the bigger person and walk away and like four bitches decided to keep yelling at me," Katrina said sounding very annoyed.

"Wait, Amanda as in the devil Amanda, my best friend is causing you issues," I said while looking at Katrina and then to Nelson and back to Katrina.

"Yes, your best friend Amanda but it's okay. She has a right to be upset because I came in upset about her treating Cara Maria the way she was treating her. I walked away from the situation, it's fine Hunt don't worry about the situation," Katrina said looking to me before kissing my cheek, "anyways its time for bed, come find a room for us to stay in," Katrina said to me grabbing my hand and walking off towards the bedrooms.
