Chapter 10: Sinking Fear

"Good morning challenger, I have a duo that is returning back to the game to try a reclaim a spot before the final. So come on out my returning challengers," TJ said as Kam and Kayleigh came out and stood next to him. "Join the other competitors as we get ready for the next challenge called Rolling Thunder were each team has to roll a boulder from a start line to a finish line; last team to the finish line is automatically eliminated and sent straight home not to the redemption house," TJ said as he sends us all to our starting spots. TJ started us and Hunter and I took off. We were about half way when I noticed that Sylvia and Joss were closing in on us because we were moving at Hunter's pace which was slower.

"Hey Hunt, I'm going to take over single handedly pushing the boulder at my pace and I want you to just run to keep up with me. Does that sound like a plan," I asked Hunter as he nodded and allowed me to push the boulder by myself which I picked the pace up which made Hunter move faster as if he was trying to catch up to me. I could see the finish line and Hunter was right behind me. We kept racing until we crossed the finish line and once we finished we waited until everyone finished.

"Congratulations Hunter and Katrina for winning the challenge today on the other hand I'm sorry Kam and Kayleigh you guys have been eliminated from this season of the challenge. Tomorrow the redemption house will go through their part of the challenge and the winners, there will be two of them will come back and the next daily challenge will decide who will make it to the finale," TJ said as he looked at all of us. We all headed back to the house to await the next challenge which was going to be in a few days. We all were settled in for the night and deciding to talk about life after the challenge.

"Hey Hunter and Katrina, you guys have been dating since you've met; what's next for you guys," Joss asked us as we were all sitting in the living room together. Before I could even answer Hunter started speaking.

"After this Katrina and I will be returning to Texas so she can finish up her medical school and then start her residency and choose her specialty. I'll be heading back to work and taking care of the farm. We will definitely figure out our paths once we actually get back home," Hunter said with a smile.

"How long have you been together now," Natalie asked.

"Almost 3 years now," I said with a smile before we continued on to talk about life and other things that have been going on. We were all sitting there when we heard a knock on the door and then two teams came in. The two teams were Corey and Devin and Cara Maria and Marie. Three of the four people who came back were friends of mine. "What the heck, I 'm so glad that you guys are back in the house and hopefully we can all make it to the finals," I said as I hugged them each individually.

"I can't believe you guys are back what happened with Nelson and Shane to get them sent home," Hunter said which caused Devin to get ready to speak before getting cut off by Cara Maria.

"Shane decided to give up and take Nelson with him. Marie tried to give up and she will probably come and try to blow up in your face just get ready for that. However, I'm excited to see my best friend again and hopefully we all make it to the final so that we can take home some money," Cara Maria said as Marie came around the corner and towards me.

"Hello little slut I'm back and ready to send you home. Hopefully, you are ready to go home," Marie said which made me laugh.

"Okay, thank you Marie for telling me how you feel. I will keep that in mind however, it's time to get some sleep before the challenge tomorrow morning," I said before standing up and then heading off to our room to get changed and into bed with Hunter following not to long afterwards.

I'll be working on the final few chapters and editing them as soon as I can. I've got exams coming up so it might be slightly delayed.
