Chapter 5: competition craziness

"Hello, contestants are we ready for the next challenge. Today yourself and your partner will be suspend in the air on a bridge and will have to unknot the ropes on the way across the bridge you're on. The fastest team will be the winner," TJ told all of us. We were moving pretty quickly before I started panicking due to how high up we were. I looked at Hunter about ready to panic as he took my hand and took the lead having me follow him and hold onto him as he unties the final few knots before we got to the finish platform. I was upset with my performance so I separated myself from everyone for a second to deal with the situation.

Katrina's Confessional

I wish I could have put my fears behind me when it comes to heights because it wasn't my day to do that. I probably looked like a baby to everyone but I just froze and Hunter had to carry the team.

Cara Maria's Confessional

I saw Katrina separate herself from the group when she got to the ground so I could tell that she was upset with her performance today; however, they were able to finish and finish quickly. Heights have never been her things while here at the challenge so the fact that she even got up there and did it makes her amazing.

Marie' Confessional

There the bitch goes again off complaining and feeling sorry for herself. I swear she's the most selfish brat I've ever met. Like why does Katrina get all the attention for no reason. It's so annoying.

Amanda's Confessional

I say Katrina walk away from Hunter and the group so I walked over to see what Hunter did this time to find him just sitting there relaxing as I was about to yell at him he just looked up at me as if to say what just happened? He looked upset for Katrina.

Hunter's Confessional

She panicked in the air again. She hasn't done that in a while so that makes me upset that she got upset enough to cause herself to panic. She usually tells me before it gets that bad and I'm upset at myself for not noticing sooner that she was upset.

As I walked back to the group I walked straight up to Hunter and hugged him so that he knew he didn't do anything wrong. "I'm sorry I walked away I was upset with myself for not performing to the best of my ability. I should have told you before we started that I was starting to panic before we started moving. I just want to thank you for keeping me calm and helping me finish the challenge today. I know we probably won't win but I appreciate you helping me battle my demons today," I said before looking at Hunter who smiled and kissed my forehead.

"As you know I'm always here for you. So let's just wait and hear who won and what is going to happen from TJ. We definitely aren't in last because a few teams haven't finished it," Hunter said as he kissed my forehead and TJ turned to the group.

"Alright challengers in today's challenge we had three times fly through the course completing it in record speed. Those teams are Tony and Bananas, Hunter and Katrina, and Cara Maria and Marie. The fastest team and the team making the decision of who is voted in will be Tony and Banana's. As the winner's you are allowed to throw anyone in who didn't get the top three teams. My three bottom teams that can be called in are Brad and Kyle, Da'Vonne and Jozea, and Natalie and Paulie," TJ said to us which made me glad that Hunter pulled me through the challenge today. As we returned to the house Bananas asked everyone to convene in the living room.

"Alright with us winning today we want to talk to everyone either here or individually to see who we should put into Armageddon. I wanted to congratulate Cara Maria and Marie, and Hunter and Katrina for being carried I mean finishing in the top three. I mean congrats for the finish today," Tony said to the group. I noticed Hunter's fist ball up as if he was angry as hell so I reached across and touched his hand. He looked over at me and I smiled at him before deciding to speak.

"Thank you Tony for congratulating me for not being able to be nominated I appreciate it. You know I was carried through the second half of the course this morning because I panicked in mid-air which sucks but it's something my partner knew because he listens to me. So thank you for trying to humiliate my team while you instead pointed out one of our greatest strengths. To everyone else that he is trying to belittle remember this is his first season that he hasn't been eliminated early and hasn't been removed by producer and the only reason is due to his partner Bananas because we all know that Tony wouldn't be here if he wasn't carried here. Now if you'll excuse me I don't need to convene with you Tony or you Bananas because I'm safe and tired of your bullshit so thanks for trying to be shit stirrers but I give no fuck so goodbye," I said as I stood up and then walked out of the room towards the confessional.

******* Katrina's Confessional*********************

I just need to call my home to make sure that my father is okay I mean I know that was a day ago but I need to know that everything is okay for right now. Also I needed to get away from everyone else before I got even angrier.

**********Hunter's Confessional*********************

She made me calm down so she could say everything that I wanted to say in a way that wouldn't get me in trouble. Since I usually act first and think second when it comes to me I get violent because I don't think before I act. Either way that's my girl and I'm really happy that I have her as my girlfriend and my best friend. I really need to figure out how I actually ended up with her.

TJ arrived and everyone reconvened in the living room. "Tony and Bananas I'm going to need the team that you guys are voting into Armageddon," TJ said which caused everyone to shift towards the two boys.

"TJ we have discussed with everyone who didn't call us assholes and we decided. Since they wanted to call us assholes and say they couldn't give a crap what conversation that we had with them that we would nominate their best friend Nelson and Shane. So until we get respect from that pair we will be making their lives difficult," Tony said to which made me roll my eyes. TJ was about to talk about the nomination when I decided to just laugh which made him look over at me.

"So, Katrina what was that about? I've got to think that you or Hunter, probably you said something to upset Tony to get Nelson and Shane put up for elimination," TJ said which caused me to laugh again and caused others to laugh as well.

"TJ some people don't know how to accept the truth and don't know how to not let the power get to his head. I mean I can't do much since I did something similar when I won power; however, I don't make things personal and didn't try to hurt anyone by what I say. I'm not going to hash it out again. Tony knows how I feel about him and Bananas and I have had conversation about everything that's went down. I mean if anybody wants to know Bananas is sneaking out whoever he can next so be prepared. Anybody who isn't their closest friends will be going home without a question they are here for themselves. I've done and said everything that I needed to," I said with a smirk.

" Well Nelson and Shane you two are going in and you'll be playing against one of the bottom teams that you will choose. Now please be ready to go by tonight. See you later challengers," TJ said as he left.

"Doesn't matter that we got nominated no matter what happened we were going to be nominated because Bananas and I don't see eye to eye and Tony is not a fan of Shane or I's. This wasn't because of Hunter or Katrina this is because of Tony and I not being friends," Nelson said before everyone left the living room. "Katrina it's not your fault and I don't want you to think it is," Nelson said to me before I waved him off so that he could go get ready for the challenge that was going on tonight. The rest of the day went along just fine and we moved into the night portion where Shane and Nelson called out Kyle and Brad and then beat them so they got to stay in the game.
