The class was led to a completely empty lab, that had been covered with pillows and blankets.
There was a little wall made of all the desks and chairs in the middle, and Emma directed the girls to the right side of the room and the boys to the left.
"No crossing the desk wall." She told them sternly, and left.
As soon as she was gone, the class errupted in voices, talking over one another, about the mind-blowing day they had.
Some where coming up with theroies about Peter, none of witch where right, of course.
Ned and Peter walked over to the desk wall and sat down.
MJ did the same on the other side. "This seems a little excessive, doesn't it?" She said.
"Yep." Peter agreed, listening to the conversations, making sure no one got to close to the real answer of why he was so close to the Avengers.
Flash was loudly announcing that Peter had obviously paid off the Avengers.
Peter was fine with that, it distracted everyone.
It took several hours for people the quiet down, and even then there where little hissing whispers randomly bounceing around the room.
Peter was halfway asslep, MJ and Ned already where, when F.R.I.D.A.Y came on, quite loudly.
"Peter?" He jerked awake, along with most of the class. "F.R.I.D.A.Y? What was that for?" He asks.
"I apologize, Peter, but I must set the alarm off, there seems to be hydra agents infiltrating the base. I thought it best to tell you so you may adjust your hearing aids as needed."
Peter was quite alarmed, obviously. He hurriedly climbed to his feet. "Karen turn my hearing down halfway." This way he would hear normally, like everyone else.
The alarm blared, and Peter frantically waved everyone up and to follow him.
They ran down the corridors to the basement, wich was made only out of protective rooms for situations like this.
MJ and Ned gave him a look, but he shook his head.
The only door out of the room was loud, so he couldn't sneak out without the class noticing.
He would have to stay here while his family fought.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y." Peter said shakily. "Is my family ok?"
There was a pause, and Peter started to freak out, but she reassured him. "The Avengers are fighting, Peter, and they are all safe, I'll alert you when one of them is injured."
Peter sighs loudly on relief.
They wait in silence. Nothing can be heard, inside and out.
Everyone else eventually sits down, but Peter paces back as forth.
They watch him.
The room is dimly lit, the corners of the room with barely enough light to see the people sitting in them.
It's quite a large room, too about half the size of the gym.
The class all sits on the far side, away from the door, while Peter is paceing in front of it.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y. Are any of them hurt?" He asks quietly. "All the Avengers are safe, Peter." She says back.
He runs his fingers through his hair anxiously and goes back to pacing.
Right when Peter is at the wall, someone starts to push on the door.
Peter sinks into the shadows in the corner, almost invisible.
The class, who's eyes are fixated on the door, doesn't notice him.
It opens, tauntingly slowly. It dragged across the floor, deafeningly in the silent room.
A man in a tight black suit, a silver hydra symbol pinned to his shoulder.
The class yells out in fear and tries to scramble backwards, standing up.
More hydra men enter behind him, about twenty.
They don't notice Peter, and they place their backs to him.
They all have guns. "Witch one of you is Spiderman?" He commands.
When no one answers, he holds the gin towards them and asks again.
"Don't you dare." MJ warns suddenly.
She's just straight up sitting there, leaning against the wall with her book in her hands.
(Thanks to duendelee for the awsome idea)
He turns the gun to her. "What."
She doesn't even look up.
She rolls her eyes. "I was talking to spiderman, obviously. Don't you dare reveal your identity or I swear I'll kill you myself."
Ned shrugs. "I agree with her, dude. I might even join her."
He smiles wickedly. "You know who he is."
Ned shrugs again. "Yeah, course we do." He laughs, MJ with him.
"You will too, don't worry." She says. "We're a really good distraction, dontcha think?"
She turns the page.
His eyes widen as he realized what she said, but it was far too late.
Peter shoots the web out, and yanks them together, making two of the agents knock their heads together and fall to the ground.
He doesn't celebrate.
He leaps forward, dodging punches and kicks, and retuning them, knocking them to the ground one by one.
He did get hit quite a few times, and his entire body felt like a large bruise, but in the end he was standing surrounded by the men, knocked out cold.
"That was epic!" Ned cheered, running over to hug Peter.
Peter winced. "Careful, carful."
"Sorry." Ned said, still unable to wipe the smile off his face. "That was not guy-in-the-chair material! That was- was- that was sidekick material!"
"And MJ was all smooth, and she was like, "You'll know his secret identity too, and then you came in and you where like, bam! Bam! Bam! And like, Pow! Pow! Pow! It- it was amazing."
Peter couldn't help but smile back. "Thanks, Ned, but you've seen me fight before, remember?"
He didn't seem to hear him. "I don't think he'll ever get over it." MJ says.
Peter takes a deep breath and turns slowly to face the class.
They stare at him like he just announced he was Captain America.
"Sooooo." Peter says akwardly, swinging his hands back and forth at his sides. "Any questions?"
