You're currently sitting on your bed, staring at Guard Jeon who was on the floor, kneeling with his hands tied. "Are you going to explain or do I have to force you to say it?" you asked him. "I thought we had a deal. I help you escape from King Taehyung and you stay far away. What happened? Did you fall for him?" He asked you.
"Oh, you don't need to worry about that. How can I trust you if I have no idea who you really are?" You asked. "Yet I have no idea what you're planning yourself," he says back with a smirk. You stood up and grabbed him by his chin. "let's just say it benefits all of us" you smiled at him.
"So are you now doing to tell me about yourself or do I have to call Taehyung?" you asked again. He glares at you as you continue to smile at him innocently. "you said you know my secret, so what secret are you talking about" he asks, hoping that it isn't the fact that he is helping the king kill people who talk about you/ around you. "the one that caused you to be separated from your family" you answered, making his eyes widened.
"how on earth did you find out?" he asked which caused you to smile. "Oh, so it is right. Good to know" You said. "I'm asking you how on earth did-" you covered his mouth. "it's better to keep your voice down or people will get us caught" you whispered into his ears. He sighs and looks away.
"To think you are the one that King Hoseok wants," you said caressing his cheek. "what do you mean?" he asked. "Oh, the reason why King Hoseok wants to go to war with Daegu is that he wants us. I have no idea what he wants me for, but you on the other hand have the thing he desires" you answered.
"If he wants it, he can have it. I don't want it. I never asked to have it in the first place. It's a curse" he said as tears started rolling down his cheeks, recalling his past. "don't cry, I'm here to help you now" you wipe his tears away. "I'll make sure he won't kill you and that King Taehyung won't find out as long as you help me with my plan. After that, we will find a way to remove your curse" you said.

"You look lovely like always" King Taehyung smiles at you. The two of you were heading towards the church where the goddess is since you won the competition. You smiled brightly at him and grabbed his hand tightly, leaning yourself against his arm. "I'm gonna miss you when you're off at war," you said. "I won't be gone too long. I will make sure I come back home and hug you again" he said as he gives you a peck on the forehead, making you giggle. "I hope so too. Then, we can discuss the wedding" you said.
"Good afternoon, Lady (Y/N) and King Taehyung. Congrats on winning the competition. This year's winning prize was so sudden that the goddess had asked to send us the winner. Maybe she predicted that you were going to win" the priest said as he walked towards you two.
"Oh! I wasn't told that. Well, I'm very grateful that the goddess will give me a blessing" you smiled. "Your Highness, please follow me as one of the sisters led Lady (Y/N)" the priest said. King Taehyung nods and turns to you. He cups your cheeks and kisses you. "Be careful and shout my name if anything wrong happens" he tells you and you nodded. You watch as the priest and the king walk away from you.
"Lady (Y/N), please follow me" a sister appeared. She led you to a room where you saw a white nightgown there. "I will need you to change into these," she said. You nodded and changed into it behind the curtains. The nun then led you into another room where there was a garden. You saw flowers and a small river there. "You need to wash yourself in the river before you speak to the goddess," she said.
You looked down at the river, assuming it wasn't deep. You walked inside the river and began washing yourself as normal. Once you dug your face into the water, you were pulled down. You tried your best to swim back up but you felt like someone was pulling you down. You felt the air disappearing.
