"Park Jimin!" You yelled as you were being chased after him. He had a bucket of water with him and he plans on dumping it on you. "come here, (Y/N)" he said still following you.
"no!" You said still running away. Even though you two are twenty, you two still act childish. It was just the way you two are. "(Y/N)! Jimin! The royal guards are here!" Your father yelled. Jimin's eyes widened as he realized what might happen to him. You took the bucket away from him and placed it down, only to hold his hand.
"Let's go inside" you smiled at him. He nodded and the two of you walked inside. Your father went out to see why they're here, leaving Jimin and you alone in the house.
The two of you sat on the couch, trying to keep calm.
"do you think they're here for me?" Jimin asked with a worried look. You gave him a warm smile. "Of course not. They all think you're dead, you're safe. I'm sure they will leave soon" you said. He nodded and the two of you waited for the return of your father.
It's been fifteen minutes and your father hasn't returned, making you get worried. Normally he'll be back in five minutes but he's not. The door opens, making you and Jimin jump to reveal your father.
"What happened, dad?" You asked.
"T-they announced that the King will be having a ball in a few days to pick himself a lady. I suggest that you stay home until the ball is over" he said.
"I agree with your father, (Y/N). Don't leave the house anymore. You know how the King is with the ladies. He sleeps with them and kicks them out of the castle or even the kingdom" Jimin said.
"I'm not stupid, Jimin. I'll listen and stay home" you said.
"Good. I don't want you to get hurt" Jimin said with a smile.
Meanwhile, the King was angry that once again this intruder has broken in his castle without getting caught by his guards. It's the fourth time that they got inside, stealing his gold. He wanted this person dead. "Your Highness, as requested I have sent the letters to every maiden in the city," Guard Jeon said.
"I want you high alert during the ball, Guard Jeon. You never know if that stupid intruder will get in" The king said and his guard nodded.
"Of course," Guard Jeon said and left the room. The King was biting his lips as he stares out of the window. He needed to get his mind distracted, so he decided to call one of his maids to fetch him a woman.
"I swear I'm gonna catch you, you intruder!"

"Are you sure you will be okay without us?" Your father asked you for the fifth time. Your father has to do business in Seoul and normally Jimin will always go with him. "I'll be fine" you smiled.
"I don't believe her," Jimin said looking at you. You rolled your eyes and replied, "I promise. After all, I have the other villagers so I'm fine". Your father and Jimin looked at each other and nodded. "alright then. We'll be leaving. Take care of yourself and don't get yourself in trouble" your father said. You watch as they leave the house. You immediately jumped on the couch.
"I have the whole house to myself!" you smiled.
The ballroom was full of girls wearing fancy dresses and makeup on their faces. They were excited because one of them will be the future queen of Daegu. They were also excited to see their handsome king.
A few guards were inside and the others were outside with Guard Jeon. The king really didn't want this intruder to get in, especially when he's having a ball tonight.
Inside the ballroom, the girls were talking to each other as the musician played. Soon they stopped and all eyes went on the King who was walking.
