King Taehyung never had heard you speak about your mother. You only have spoken about your father. He assumed that she died, but he was very wrong. The King looks at his so called mother in law still glaring at you. "Now that I answered your question, you have to answer mine. What you are doing here?" You asked her. "We're here because we need protection" she answers.
"And from what?" You crossed your arms. "Eunbi has gain attention of many kings because of her beauty and we hoped that the King would-" you then spoke over her. "Protect her by having her seduce the King? What a smart move"
"Be careful who you're talking to young lady. At any moment, my dear Eunbi can steal your fiancé" your mother said, but you laughed. "Do you really think she can steal him away from me? I'm the only one he listens to. The only one who knows how to control him" You said as you places your hands on his chest.
"And, I'm the only one that can make him weak" You smirks as you trace his jawline causing him to shiver from your touch. Your mother clenched her jaw seeing you stand by the king. Eunbi on the other hand, was jealous that her half sister has been living in luxury and has a handsome man in her hands.
Prince Taejoon was standing there confused and uncomfortable on what was going on but stood by you and his brother. He looks at your mother who was still frustrated and then to Eunbi. The prince was frightened a bit and hugs you tightly. "Who are they?" You looked down at him and gave him a kiss on the forehead, making him smile. "They're no one. We'll continue our conversation later. Guard Jeon please take Prince Taejoon to his bedroom" you ordered and he nodded.
Once the prince left, you immediately looked back at them. "Where's your stupid father? I'm surprised he even allowed you to be with the king" Your mother spoke. "Don't you dare disrespect my father. He's the only man that truly loves me. I don't have to tell you anything about him since you're the one that decided to leave us behind" you yelled at her, but she scoffed.
"And yes, he allowed me to be with him. At first our relationship was confusing and weird, but you don't need to know more. He has fully accepted Taehyung into our family" You added on. "But he doesn't have my blessing" she said, making you clenched your fist.
"He doesn't need your blessing because you're not my mother. You might have given birth to me, but you left me when I was young! What type of mother does that to her own child? You lost your title the day you decided to leave"
"And I know the reason why you left and it was a stupid reason. Now if you excuse me, I have other important things to do. I trust that whatever King Taehyung decides" you said as you turned your heel and walked out.
