I giggled at my mate, watching as he scanned the perimeter of our home fiercely making sure I along with our daughter is safe. Always so protective, never settling down.

Our one-week-old was cooing up at me and I awed at the sight of her. She is so beautiful.

"Alioth, sit. You're making me nervous." I grinned over at him.

He stopped watching the terrain, coming over to me wearing a smile on his gorgeous face. He looked down at our daughter with so much love I wanted to cry.

"Hold her." He didn't get a chance to resist as I shoved our baby into his arms. He was careful with her, his past experience helping him.

He put her in the crook of his arm, watching her sleep. He brushed his finger over her face, watching as the baby's lips turned up at the touch of her father.

"We still need to name her." He told me softly, careful not to wake our little one.

I pressed myself against him, "I'm just not sure about what to call her, no name seems to be good enough."

Alioth was great throughout my pregnancy, he was there for me whenever I needed him. He made sure to comfort me whenever I had doubts and always motivated me to be the best version of myself. I love him so much.

"I might have one." He admitted, looking a bit bashful, an expression I've never seen on him. I'll make sure to tease him later.

"What is it?"

"On my planet, it's tradition to give our young stellar names since the stars play a very important part in our lives." He told me. I caressed his face, tracing his cheekbone with my thumb.

I smiled, "What name were you thinking?"

"Andromeda." He speaks, watching our daughter with loving eyes. "One of the brightest galaxies in all the universe."

I kissed my daughter on her forehead, loving the name Alioth chose for her. It's a little strange but it's different just like her father.

"I love it," I tell him, kissing his lips.

"You're sure? I have others." He said excitedly. I laughed, shaking my head.

"Andromeda sounds right. It suits her."

We remained together for the rest of the day, happy to be a family and looking forward to raising our daughter together. Alioth and I were made for one another and though our pasts weren't the best, our futures will be, I'll make sure of it.

He was an unexpected blessing in my life and accepted all of who I am and what I've done. He arrived from the stars, a magical being from a far-off world and I wouldn't have it any other way.

He's my fallen love. . .
