BLINDNESS

WELCOME TO UNITED STATES

Y/N'S POV
I woke up from the sound of the announcement that we will be landing for just a minute. Well even though it's my first time here in the US, you could tell that I'm prepared.

Back to Korea I did some research about everything, where to go, the store's location, money, job, and transportation with that I've also downloaded some apps that I need while I'm at the US.

~At last, our plane landed. Welcome to UNITED STATES!~ (I addressed myself mentally)

-AFTER THE DEPARTURE-

I waited for my suitcase while I scroll my new phone. Well basically I also brought my mom's phone but this new one is for Sana's communication and the others. My mom's phone is very old that when you call it you can't hear a thing but only a high-pitched sound.

I booked a grab car towards the school that I'm in, while pulling my luggage towards the exit the driver was already outside.
~Wah, that was fast~ (I said mentally)
I entered the car and then started talking.
Y/N: Annyeongha- (I stopped as I realize that I'm not in Korea) Umm, I have already sent you the location of my destination sir. (I said fluently)
Driver: Owh, Indiana Aeronautics School Training? (He said scrolling his phone)
Y/N: Yes, sir (I replied)
Driver: Okay! All set! (He stepped on the gas)

I was seated on the back seat, on the way to school I took some pictures using my second phone. I look around while being blocked by a glass window, seemingly I appreciated every building, structure, and people around here. Everything is like something new that's exciting to try and travel.

After an hour or two, we've finally arrived. The grab driver dropped me at the entrance and congratulated me I bowed as I thank him. I walk to the gate and the reached the guardhouse, they asked for my I.D and a letter from the office.

Since I'm complete on checking, the let me enter the school. The school is massive, everything is different from Korea. The school is not just a typical school since it's aeronautic everything you see is a spacious ground, some airplanes, and some airplane engines.

I was just dragging my luggage until I see some students who are lining up, seems like an open ceremony is about to happen. I slowly took a chair and sat down.

Principal: Hello! And welcome to Indiana Aeronautics School! (He said happily)
~Everyone applauded~
Principal: Well, for those who don't know me. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Morgan Kemp the principal of this school. I'm already 56 years old but still I take captive of everything's happening here in the school. All of you are welcome as we open a new chapter of another school year. (He said proudly)
~Everyone applauded again~
Mr. Morgan: Now, you will be given keys to your respective dormitory. Don't ever lose it or it'll be your loss.

Everyone was taking a line, they took out the keys one by one by one and then walked away to find their room. I'm next, I take one step forward and the I took out room number 129. As soon as I got my room key I directly find my room.

I slowly match my room number to some rooms that I've been passing by.
~126, 127, 128, here it is, 129~ (I said mentally)
I enter the key to the locked doorknob and open it. As soon as I got in, I dropped my bag. As I see a very neat room. There were two matching beds so I took the right side.

(Imagine this is your dorm room)

I arranged my things, my clothes, everything that I've brought. I have my own cabinet so I put all of my clothes there. While arranging, the doorknob was twitching left and right. I decided to open it and I and see a smiling man.
Y/N: Are you lost? (I said while holding the door)
???: Are you somehow... my roommate? (He said smiling)
Y/N: Do you have any proof that I'm your roommate? (I said raising my left eyebrow)
???: Here "room 129" (he said showing me his room key)
Y/N: Okay, come in. You'll be taking that bed now that I have you as my roommate I hope we could get along. (I said handing out my hand)
???: Oh, yeah. I'm Park Bo-Gum by the way. You can call me what ever you want (laughs as he took out my hand to shake)
Y/N: Are you... Korean? (I said curiously)
Bo Gum: Yes! Are you korean? (He said pointing at me)
Y/N: YES! (Laughs)
Bo Gum: Jinjja? Jinjja-ro?! (He said smiling again)
Y/N: NE! I'm Kim Y/N. Born and raised from South Korea! (I saluted)
Bo Gum: Yahhh, the world could be small sometimes (he said in disbelief)
Y/N: Well, you should arrange your things (I said gesturing his bag)
Bo Gum: Ye, Kamsahamnida (bows)

~So this guy's my roommate, he really looks like an idol, Ani, more like an actor. He would perfectly fit if he's a actor.~ (I said mentally)

Since tomorrow would be the official starting of classes, I still have time to talk and get to know my roommate.

I laid my back against the soft bed while Bo Gum did the same.
Y/N: So you got accepted too? (I said staring at the ceiling)
Bo Gum: Yes, I wasn't expecting that I would get accepted because I feel like I'm not compatible about this job (he said sadly)
Y/N: Why do you think so? (I said as I look at him)
Bo Gum: You know, sometimes people just bother our minds until the day we somehow quit and just let life pass by.
Y/N: Well, let's not make them bother us since it's our dream to touch the sky. Let's make it happen (I said as I tucked my fingers and fists bumps each other)
Bo Gum: Hwaiting! (He said with action)
Y/N: HWAITING! (I did the same)
