part 5 - Date with Dana (part 2)

It's 11AM when I wake up. When I open my eyes, I realize this is not my room. And neither my bed. I look at my right. I look straight into Dana's eyes. "Goodmorning beautiful," he says. Suddenly I remember what happened. When we finished dinner my mom called, that she and daddy were sleeping at friends house, so I could go to one of my friends. I didn't, cuz I was with Dana. So I must have slept at Dana's...  "Nothing happened right," I ask him scared. "Haha, no, nothing happened. You almost immidiately fell asleep. Don't worry," he says. "Are you hungry?" "Actually, yes." "My dad made us some eggs with bacon." Dana points at the balcony. There's a table, with 2 plates of eggs with bacon, 2 glasses with orange juice and a vase with a rose in it. I smile. Dana takes my hand, and we go to the balcony. It's kinda cold, because the only things I'm wearing are underpants and a T-shirt Dana gave me. I guess he sees I'm freezing, because without saying anything, he goes to his room, takes one of his hoodies and gives it to me. "Thanks." "No thanks babe." He takes his glass, and holds it in the air. "To us?" I take my glass and push it against his. "To us." We drink a bit of juice, and then he leans over to kiss me. It's a long kiss, but then my phone rings. "Hi, it's Ashley. Oh hey Lori. What's wrong? Okay, I'll be there. Bye." "What's wrong," Dana asks. "I don't know, but my friend wants me to come over at 12.30. I'm sorry, but it sounded really urgent." "No, it's okay. I understand it. We'll go to the movie next weekend, no problem." "Thanks you're the best. Would you mind if I'd take a quick shower?" "No, ofcourse not. It's at the end of the corridor, on your right." "Thanks."

At 12.30 I arrive at Lori's house, showered and fresh. I knock, and not even a second after knocking, Lori opens the door. "Finally, you're here. Let's go to my room." We go to her room, where Megan is painting Coco's nails. "What's wrong, you sounded like someone died on the phone," I say. "Wow, no. It's worse," Megan says. "A lot worse," Coco adds. "What happened then?" "Well, Friday, at school. I saw Cole, that super cute guy. He came to me and we talked, and then he asked for my number. We've been texting the WHOLE DAY. But yesterday, he changed his 'Relationship Status' on Facebook, and now he's in a relationship with this girl Cassidy. And I don't know what to do, cause I really really like him!" "Ask him," I say. "Ask him what, why he's texting me cute things while he's with Cassidy?" "Exactly!" "That's not a bad idea... You know what, I'll call him. In fact, I'm calling him now. I'll be right back." Lori leaves the room. "So how was your date with Dana," Coco asks. "Amazing! First we watched a movie, Titanic. And you know at the end, when you just can't stop crying? Well at that moment, he just held my hand, and pulled me close to him. It was just so romantic. But suddenly he stopped the movie, and then he KISSED me! And then we kinda made it official. After a while his dad drove us to the restaurant where we had reserved. We ate the most delicious pizza EVER and then we went back to his house." "To his house....," Megan says. "Nothing happened. He just gave me a T-shirt to sleep in, and that's it. Although, we've cuddled a bit, but nothing more than that." "PRAISE THE LORD," Lori screams when she walks in. "WHAT," Megan, Coco and I say at the same time. "He's not with Cassidy! His sister found his Facebook password and posted that. Isn't that amazing?!" "Yes that's great haha," Megan says.
