My IM5- boyfriend

Part 10 - ' We just want our friend back'

It's mondaymorning, and my class starts in half an hour, but I decide to stay home. I feel ill, and can't stop crying. I haven't talked to Dana since yesterday, and it feels terrible. Coco texts me.

Coco:

Hey booboo, how are you? Don't think you're coming to school today, are you? After school Lori and I'll come over, okay? love you sweetie

Although the text is really sweet, I don't feel like answering. I get my laptop, and go downstairs. While I listen to a Flo Rida song that's on MTV, I go on Facebook. I scroll down the Homepage. Suddenly I see this status saying ' Madison Mclaughlin changed her status from 'In a relationsip' to 'single' '.  I grab my phone and call her. 'Hi, who's this?' 'It's me, Ashley. Babe, what happened? Did you and Dalton break up?' 'Yes, he broke up with me..' 'WHY?!' 'He received a picture of me, kissing with my ex boyfriend. He thought I was cheating on him, so he broke up.' 'You must be kidding me.' 'No really, he received that message yesterday morning, he wanted to see me as soon as possible so we catched up in the afternoon and then he broke up with me.' 'That is exactly what happened between me and Dana, also yesterday.' 'Oh my gosh, what a coincidence! Are you okay?' 'Actually, no. but I'll get over it. But I don't think this is coincidence..' 'What do you mean?' 'Madi, can you come over at three thirty?' 'Yeah sure.' 'Okay, we'll talk later then.' I hang up. I quickly get dressed, and then go to Megan's house.

As I predicted, only Megan's mother is home. I knock on the door, and Megan's mother, Kate opens. 'Oh hey Ashley, don't you have class now?' 'Yes, but I'm sick. Well, kinda. Can we talk?' 'Uh.. yeah sure. Come in.' We sit down on the couch. 'So, what's wrong?' 'I actually wanted to ask you if Megan has been acting weird the last time.' 'Not really. Only that's she's away all the time. But I think it's good that she goes out, meet up with friends. Just socializing a bit.' 'Does she tell you where she goes to?' 'Well, most of the time she's at Lori's house, and otherwise she's at Starbucks.' That wasn't really the answer I was hoping for, and Kate sees it. 'Why are you asking me this? What's going on?' I tell Kate the whole story, about the IM5 boyfriends, about Madison, about the punch accident, about Coco's room and about the break up. 'I'm really sorry for your friend Madison about the punch, but what has Meggy to do with the fact that your boyfriend broke up with you, and Coco's room?' I give her the paper Coco found in her room. 'This pretty much looks like Meg's handwriting, and why would anyone else do that? And about the break ups. Megan, Lori and Coco are the only ones who have that picture of me and my ex boyfriend Sam. And I don't think Lori or Coco would've done that.' 'What do you want me to do?' 'Maybe you could talk to her? We just want our friend back. ' 'I'll do what I can. Anything else?' 'No that's all. Thank you, Kate.' I stand up and go home. 

At 3.30PM Coco, Lori and Madison arrive at my house. We get something to drink en then go to my room. 'This morning I went talk to Kate, Megan's mom. She told me she didn't notice anything weird, except that Megan was away all the time. Kate thought she was hanging out with us.' 'Yeah, but she definitely isn't, Coco says. 'I know. So, I've been comparing the note you found in your room with some things she wrote in my notebook. And they I'm hundred percent sure they match. So I think Megan is sabotaging our lives because she's jealous of us, and specially of Madison.' 'But what can we do about it,' Madison asks. 'First we have to get our lives back. I gotta talk to Dana, and you have to talk to Dalton, because this is ridiculous. Then, we'll help Coco get her room back to normal. After that we go talk to Megan, and we'll tell her we're not dealing with this shit.' 'Wow Ash, you got a whole plan! I love it,' Lori says. 'Yes! Let's do this poo,' Coco shouts, and then we do a grouphug.
