part 9 - 'We're done, Ashley.'

My phone rings, it's Coco. 'Jesus, Coco it's 4AM, why are you awake this early?' 'I wish I could sleep now, but I pretty much can't.' 'Coco, please, don't act all mysterious, what's going on?' 'Megan has gone mad. She destroyed my whole room. My parents and I were at friends' house, and just came home. Megan has the key of our house, she sneaked in, dismantled my bed, she messed up my wardrobe, and she left a note saying 'Why would you have a perfect room, if you can sleep at Will's house?' Ashley, this can't go on like this, we have to do something.' 'I know, this is terrible. Where are you sleeping tonight then?' 'I guess on the couch, or I'll make myself a bed out of clothes and I'll sleep on the floor.' 'I'll pick you up in ten, you can stay at my house. Tomorrow we'll talk about everything, okay?' 'Oh my gosh, you're the best Ashley!' 'I know, hihi. I'll be right there, bye.' I hang up. Quickly I get sweatpants, a sweater and a beanie out of my clothes. Without making any noise I manage to get my bike out of the garage, and leave. Coco lives a block away, so it isn't that far. Half an hour later I'm back in bed again, but now with Coco next to me. 'Goodnight, erm, goodmorning Coco.' 'Goodnight Ash, you're my best friend, I love you.' She gives me a hug, and then she turns around, and falls asleep.

My mom wakes us up at 12AM. 'Rise and shine ladies, it's 12 AM already.' We get dressed, and then go downstairs to get some breakfast. When we got ourselves something to eat, we sit down at the couch and watch something on MTV. Then I recieve a text message, it's Dana.

Dana:

 We gotta talk. Can I pick you up in about half an hour? Dana. 

I'm kinda worried. Dana never talks like that. Coco probably sees that I'm worried, cuz she asks what's wrong. I read out the text message. 'Oh lord, what if he's breaking up with me?' 'Chill out Ash. Text him back that it's okay, and go talk to him. That's the only way to figure out what's going on.' 'But we were supposed to talk about the whole Megan thing?' 'We'll talk tomorrow in the break, that's no problem. Go save your relationship.' She winks at me. I grab my phone and text Dana back.

Ashley:

Yeah sure baby, I'll be ready. x Ashley

Half an hour later someone knocks on the door. I open the door and it's Dana. 'Wait, is she coming with us,' he asks when he sees Coco. 'Oh well hi there, yes I'm great, thank you,' I say sarcastic. 'Don't worry, I'm just about to go home,' Coco says. She gives me a hug. 'Thanks Ash. And good luck,' she says, and then walks away. 'Okay, let's hit the road then,' I say. 'Yeah whatever,' Dana says. We walk to Starbucks, get something to drink and then sit down at a table. 'So, what's wrong? You sounded very serious.' 'Well THIS is what's wrong.' He shows me his phone. I see a picture of me, kissing with my ex boyfriend, Sam. 'Ashley I thought that what we had was special, why would you cheat on me?' 'Wow wait, cheat on you? Baby, I only love you! This picture is more than a year old! How did you get this?' 'Someone sended me this on What's App. This person said she had seen you yesterday evening with this guy. You know Ashley, I want a girlfriend that I can trust. I'm sorry, but this won't work out like this. We're done, Ashley.' He stands up, and walks away. I run after him. 'Dana wait! You HAVE to believe me! I swear to God, this picture is from last year. That guy is my ex boyfriend but we broke up three months ago.' 'Don't go tell lies! It won't make this any better. I thought I could really trust you. But apparently not.' I see tears in his eyes. Then he turns around, and walks away. And there I stand. My eyes burn from all the tears. I run home, and lock myself in the bathroom. I get a razor blade out of the cupboard, and then start to cut myself...
