part 12 - The truth comes out

It's mondaymorning, and I walk to school with Coco and Lori. Today we're discussing the plan, and we have our first practise for the Can't Stay Away music video. We only have to go to our first 3 hours of school, and then a huge bus picks us up and brings us to the place where we'll be rehearsing. We're super excited, but also a bit nervous, to see how Megan will act with us, and the boys, around her. 'Did you get any reactions on what Megan posted on the school site,' Coco asks Lori. 'Thank God, no! Ashley, again, thank you SO much! If it had been any longer on the site I would've gone wild,' Lori says. 'No problem girl. Hey, Coco, is your room okay now,' I ask her. 'Almost! I only have to do the part of my wardrobe,' she says. 'By the way, you didn't tell us about what you and Dana did. You only texted that you guys were back together, but that was it,' Lori says. 'Well, he told me to come to the XIX building. When I arrived, the other boys blindfolded me, and leaded me to a dark room. There was a stage, and all the lights were pink and red. Then, Will started to play When I Was Your Man on the piano, and Dana sang to me. He gave me a bouquet of roses, and then we were okay,' I tell them. 'And then? What did you do at his house,' Coco asks inquisitive. 'We sang a bit, then ate pizza's in his parents bed, because they stayed at a hotel, watched a movie and then fell asleep.' 'Aw, that's so cute,' Coco exclaims. 'We're almost there girls. Soon, everything will be back to normal,' Lori says. We enter de school, and go to our lockers.

'Holy crap, what's this,'  Coco says. Little notes fall out of her locker. I pick one up, and read what it says. 'I hope you get anorexia again and DIE.' Lori picks up another one. 'Hi you little fucker, I hope one day you'll choke in your own finger.' The tears stream down Coco's face. I get so mad. Megan has to do something with this. Megan, Lori and I are the only ones that know that Coco had boulimia. Lori gives Coco a hug, and I feel like joining her, but instead, I walk away. 'Hi, can I do a quick announcement through the intercom,' I ask the concierge. 'Yeah, but real quick. The classes are about to begin,' she says. I sit down, and press on the button, that makes me go 'live'. 'Hi, I'm Ashley Taylor. There's someone at this school, telling people to send hate to Coco Bradley, Lori Wright and me. I just want this person to know that this has to stop. This is ridiculous, and unnecessary. So guys, if this person asks you to send us hate in any kind of way, please ignore it, and leave us alone. Okay, have a nice day.'  I grab my bag, and run to my class because I'm almost late.

During the break we talk about 'the plan'. 'We could let Dalton text her that he wants to see her, she'll definitely will come,' Lori says. 'No, because she'll totally flip when she finds out it's fake. She'll hate us even more,' I say. The girls nod, as a sign they understand. 'I have an idea! We let Eben call her, telling her he wants to talk about the music video. Maybe, he can ask her to dance the lead or something,' Coco says. 'That quite a good idea,' I say. 'Yeah, that's sounds good,' Lori agrees with me. 'We'll ask Eben as soon as we arrive at the studio today,' I say. My phone rings. 'Hi, who's this,' I say. 'Oh yeah, we'll be there in a minute. Thank you for calling. Okay, bye.' 'Who was that, Ash,' Coco asks. 'The chauffeur. The bus arrived, so we gotta go.' We grab our backs, and leave the schoolcanteen.

We enter the bus, we see the boys, Bella, Madison, Patricia, Megan and another guy we don't know. 'Hi guys,' I say. Dana walks to the front of the bus, and gives me a hug. Will and Cole do the same, but then with Coco and Lori. Then we walk to the back, where Gabe sits with Patricia, Dalton with Madison, Eben with Bella and in the back,  a cute guy with blonde hair and a cap on next to Megan, who stares bored out of the window.  Will and Coco, Cole and Lori, and Dana and I sit down together. It's a long trip, we have to drive over 4 hours. Tonight, we sleep in an hotel and tomorrow we're beginning with filming. During the trip, we talk and sing a bit. After two hours I fall asleep. Dana takes off his jacket, and puts it over me as a blanket. Two hours later, when we arrive I hear a voice whisper. 'Babe, we arrived. Wake up.' I open my eyes, and look straight into Dana's beautiful eyes. 'Hello sleeping beauty. You've slept for two hours!' I sit up straight, and rub in my eyes. 'Come on, let's go get something to drink.' We walk into the building. It's HUGE, and really beautiful. Everyone's already drinking something. 'Well hello there,' Lori says. 'You've slept so long,' Cole says. I laugh, and then take a look at the table. Fanta, Coca Cola, Sprite... 'Eben, do you have any water,' I ask. 'You don't want soda,' he asks looking at me weird. 'Nah, I don't really like soda. I prefer water,' I say. 'Well okay then,' he says, and gives me a bottle of water. 'Hey, Coco, Lori we gotta talk,' I say. They immediately know what I'm talking about, so we sneak Eben out of the room, and explain him the plan. 'Yeah sure, if that's what you guys want,' he says after we done our story. 'Thank you so much Eben, you're the best,' I say. We give him a hug, and then go back to the central place. 'Okay guys, let's start rehearsing. You can leave your bags here, the crew will come in a sec, and they'll bring it to your rooms. I'll lead you to the studio,' Eben says. 

At 7PM we're done rehearsing. Eben got us pizzas, so when we're done we go to the boys' room and eat the pizzas. 'Let's play truth or dare!'  Everyone looks at Coco. 'Are you serious,' Dalton asks. 'Oh sorry... We used to play that when we had sleepovers, remember girls,' Coco says. Lori and I nod, Megan just looks bored at the ground. 'But nevermind, we'll just eat our pizzas,' Coco says. 'No! I love truth or dare, I asked that because I actually really like it,' Dalton says. Everyone laughs, except Megan. 'Wai, before we begin, who are you,' I ask the blonde boy with the cap. 'I'm Ryan, I'm Bella's dance partner in the music video,' he says. 'Oh okay. Well let's start. Dalton, you go first,' I say. 'Hmm, okay... Coco, truth or dare?' 'Dare.' 'Dare you... give Cole a French kiss?' 'Oh hell yeah.' Coco grabs Cole's shirt and then they kiss. 'Okay, now my turn. Ashley, truth or dare?' 'Truth.' 'Before you and Dana got together, had you ever thought this would happen?' 'Actually, yes. In every single dream I married Dana, hihi.' Dana smiles, and puts his arms around me. 'I pick.... Megan.' Megan's surprised that I picked, but ofcourse, I thought about this one. 'Truth or dare?' 'Truth.' Perfect! Exactly how we planned it.  'Would you date this guy.' I show her a picture of Hunter, Dalton's brother on my iPhone. 'Uhm... I guess, yeah. He's pretty handsome. Okay, Ashley I pick you. Truth or dare.' Again, I say truth, because I always do. 'Have you, or have you not ever cut yourself?' Something inside me breaks. It makes me wanna scream, cry, punch Megan. But I can't do anything, it's like I can't move. How could Megan be such a bitch?! 'Well,' Megan asks grinning. I feel I can move again, so I run away. I leave the boys' room, and run to the girls' room, and then lock myself in the bathroom. I can't but just cry, cry and cry. Suddenly I see my toiletry bag, and get my razor blade out of it. And then I sit there, on the floor with the blade in my hand. I know I don't need to do this, but I feel like I just have to. On the moment I decide to cut myself, someone knocks on the door. 'Honey, please come out,' Coco says. 'You don't want to do this,' Lori says. 'I can't come out,' I say, while more and more tears stream down my face. Then I hear another voice. 'Ashley? Babe, please come out. I need to know what's wrong. I wanna help you, and so do your friends.' It's Dana. I'm too scared to see him or tell hem anything so I just say nothing. Then for a moment, I hear nothing at all. Until, I hear some weird noises, and before I know it, they've opened the door. Don't ask me why, but I start to cry even harder when I see my two friends, and boyfriend there. They sit down next to me on the floor, en Lori throws away the razor blade. 'Oh baby, I'm so sorry for you,' Coco says. Dana puts his arms around me, and I lay my head on his chest and cry more. When I've calmed down a bit, we sit down at our beds. 'You want to tell it right now, or do you wanna wait,' Dana asks. I smile through my tears, Dana's such a sweetheart. 'I'll do it now, then we're rid of that,' I say. 'We'll get the stuff we left in the other room, and say goodnight to the others,' Lori says. They go to the other room and I start to tell my story. 'Five years ago, my dad got cancer, and died. A year later, my mom died in a car crash. When a few months after that my ex cheated on me, I couldn't handle it. So I started cutting. I live with my grandparents now, and I really love them, but sometimes, when I really miss my parents, or when I feel sad I cut again. It just makes the pain go away. Megan, Coco and Lori are the only persons that know this. If my grandparents would know this, they'd be broken. I'm the only thing they have left, and they're my only thing.' I take a deep breath, because I feel I can start sobbing every moment. 'Why didn't you tell me this,' Dana asks. 'I was just afraid. I do really trust you, but I wanted to avoid getting hurt again.' 'I understand. But promise me two things from now on, you tell me everything that concerns you, and please Ashley, I bed you. STOP CUTTING. Do it for me, okay,' he says. I nod. A tear streams down my face, and Dana wipes it away. Then he pushes me against him, and holds me like that for a few minutes.

Hi guys!

I have this pain syndrom, which means I always feel pain in my body. Last days my back really hurted, so couldn't really do much. For me that's not much good, but for you guys it is because that means I have more time to write, yay!

So, 'the truth comes out' what do you guys think about it? Still liking it? Since I still can't do much because of the pain, I'll be writing part 13 the next few days.
