I Smell Red

Strangely, whilst you were taking part in the ritual, you heard footsteps.

You just ignored it but eventually you opened your eyes to see Nan running out the room.

You needed to follow her. You contemplated it but finally gave up and left the group. They would do just fine without you.

You followed Nan out as she ran to the neighbours house.

You almost laughed. Of course she wanted to go there. She was obsessed with the boy there. It seemed they were very traditional.

You hung at the front of the garden at the school, you didn't want to go into that house. It would cause more trouble. I mean you could go invisible but you just-

Oh my god.

A loud noise came from the neighbours house, it was... a gunshot?

Shit. You had to check if Nan was alright. You made yourself invisible as you jumped the hedge separating the two houses.

You lifted yourself up to the open window. Telekinesis was ultimately cool.

You broke the window with your mind and stepped in. Your red dress flowing dramatically. You now knew why Maddison bought this dress. It made you feel very powerful.

You heard cry's from downstairs and you could smell an awful stench.

It was blood. The overwhelming smell punched your nostrils as you walked closer to see Nan crying beside a young boys motionless body.

"Are you okay?" You say rushing over noticing silver bullets ridden along the walls.

"Someone has shot Luke" She cries.

Luke wasn't the only one bloody, his mother was lying on the floor, she was definitely dead. Luke ,on the other hand, was still breathing.

"We need to call an ambulance" You suggest but Nan was to teared up to do anything.

You ran across to the nearest phone and dialled in 911.

It rang as you impatiently tapped your foot. You were very nervous. The red dress you were wearing hid all the bloodstains that you had gained from sitting next to Nan and the bodies.

"What is your emergency?"

"There has been a shooting and two injured I think."

"Where are you right now?"

You gave the 911 operator your location.

"We are sending a squad car and an ambulance, don't fret, we'll be there in 10 mins tops"

"Okay, thanks" You say slamming the phone down.

It was then when you saw Misty and Fiona walk in. It seemed that they hadn't killed Fiona after all.

You turned yourself invisible as you watched them stand beside Luke's mothers corpse.

"If you think you are the next supreme, prove it and bring her back to life" Fiona spits to Misty.

Misty was clearly afraid of Fiona and nodded feverishly. She closed her eyes and healed the woman.

The woman sat up and deeply inhaled, she wheezed as she turned to Luke's body and screamed.

Fiona nodded at Misty as if to say 'well done' and they left the building.

You followed but stuck around just long enough to see Nan grasping onto Luke's lifeless body and insisting to stay with him as they pulled him into the ambulance and out of sight.
