12. Rumours

*Justice*

After we got Gravity to the hospital we waited for the doctor to tell us her condition.
What the hell did they put in her drink?
'Are you here for Gravity Enger?' A doctor asks us amd we nodd.
'She has had an overdose of GHB, you might know the drug. Currently she is unstable, she seems to either be in a coma or is still passed out from the use of the drug, the dangers of an overdose are, vomiting, sweating, loss of consciousness, confusion, shallow breathing, dizziness and seizures. Sometimes even death but the dosw wasn't big eniugh for that. She will be hospitalised until she wakes up, until then i suggest that you take a rest.'
'What are the chances of her having a seizure?' I ask and he smiles at me.
'Not high at all, when she wakes up we believe she will just feel nauseous, maybe some cold sweats and clumsiness but that's about it' he reassures.
Gravity's mum has sued pretty much everyone, Tyler is 100% going to jail for the use of an illegal drug, attempted rape and harassment. For the next few days i stay by her side. I'm beginning to worry, the doctor said not to but shouldn't she be awake by now? It's been three days! I hild her hand and sigh. It's currently 2:30Am.
I squeeze her hand slightly before i leave, but she saueezes back.
'Gravity? Sunshine? Can you hear me? It's Justice!' I say and her eyes crack open slightly,
'J...Justice? Ugh i feel so horrible' she slurrs and i hug her.
'Don't worry sunshine. I've got you' i mutter.
'Sunshine? I like that' she murmers before sleeping again.
Oh thank god.

*Gravity*
Everything aches okay that's an exaggeration but anyway. The doctor said i could get discharged since i woke up. I'm feeling alright but I've found that i feel very very weak. I can't even lift a cup! Justice told me about what had happened and how Tyler is now behind bars. That was quick. I can't get up and i refuse a wheelchair so Justice offers to carry me which i accept...obviously.
My phone has blown up with get well soons and we miss you posts, tweets and text. Ugh.
There are two types of people
Macie: hey gurl hope you're alright! But omg! I can't believe Tyler! Would you forgive him? Omg he actually asked me out as well ugh.

Astra: GIRL ARE YOU OKAY? I FOUND OUT WHERE TYLER LIVES I'M GOING TO BEAT HIM UP. WAIT I'LL GET MARCO TO BEAT HIM UP.
Yiu okay though right? Omg please get back to me! I can't loose my sistaaa!
I smile and get back to the both.
We go back home and mum gives me a quick hug before leaving again.
Justice carries me into the house but as he does i realize so has Macie.
'Macie...can you get out of my house?' I ask and she frowns
'That's no way to speak to your best friend. Why can he come in but not me? Are you dating? Omg you and the nerd? What about Domico? Also when is Tyler coming back i miss him' she pouts. Seriously?
'Macie you are not my best friend. Astra is. And Tyler is the most perverted-' Justice covers my mouth.
'Calm down sunshine you need your strength for something important' he whispers and i nod.
'You- fine.' Macie growls and leaves. Almost as soon as she does my phone explodes with tweets and comments and posts, so does Justice's phone. He takes me up to my room first and them we check our phones.
Omg their dating? Really?
What about Domico?

Um no? What about Domico???
I shut off my phone and lie down.
'can you sleep here for tonight?' I ask and he hesitates before nodding. He lays down with me and i put my head on his chest.
'What are we going to do about the rumours?' He asks and i give him a grin.
'You would do that? Why?' He asks clearly baffled, i'm pleased that he got what i was tryinf to say with just a grin.
'Cause y not, you live here, everyone thinks it anyway and i like you' i say. My heart leaps into my throat as i wait his answer. He pulls me closer and pressed his lips to my ear.
'I like you too' he mumbles and i smile.
We wake up for school and today i go with Justice, we drop Emmy off at her school first and then walk into school hand in hand, i'm aware that people are whispering but i don't care. I'm still a bit weak from that drug thing, so Justice didn't want to leave me which is cute.
We walk into class and Mr Crown looks at me as if he saw a ghost.
Domico sits next to me but doesn't say anything.
Finallyyyyyy.
'Didn't i tell you to stay away from him' Angela shouts slamming her hands on my desk, from the corner of my eye i see Justice rise up slightly so i send a wink in his direction to tell him i got this.
'He isn't your's idiot. Go chase after something else, and while your at it can you throw yourself away?' I ask. Not my best insults i know but I'm blaming the drug.
When we get to lunch i take Justice to the roof, we wait for Astra and Marco.
'This is nice, the roof' Justice tells me, he sits down and leans against the wall and i sit beside him and lay my head on his chest and i hear him chuckle.
'Gravi- oh my god. YOU TWO LOOK SO CUTE OMG!!' Astra squeals she drags Marco over to us and chat until class.
After school we walk home together and i realise that school isn't that bad. It was okay with Justice.
And so now i decide to actually try again.
'Gravity Rose Enger what is this' dad hisses as we go into the house. I tell Justice to go upstairs and wait for me.
Great.
When i actually want to turn things around dad comes in NOW.
'Gravity what is this?' Dad says again. Mum looks unfazed as I've already told her everything.
I shrugged and dad went red
'You useless useless girl. After everything that happened this is how you repay us?' Dad asks and i scoff.
'Oh my bad. Thank you for not putting me up for adoption after my brother tried to kill me then killed himself.' I sneer. Dad takes a step forward and slaps me.
'WHAT THE HELL? GRAVITY GO UPSTAIRS. HOW DARE YOU SLAP OUR DAUGHTER' Mum bursts, i sprint upstairs completley shocked, mum continues to shout and i run into my room, i slam into Justice and fall down.
'Oh my god Gravity' he scoops me up and hugs me.

My dad just slapped me.
