No one's pov

The group walked into an open area Ahsoka asks looking around surprised," What is this?" Nora answered as they walked farther inside," It looks like some kind of laboratory." Fives says curious," I wonder how long this has been abandoned." Anakin said getting everyone's attention," Maybe this will give us some answers." They look seeing Anakin looking at a skeleton corpse with laboratory scientist outfit torn covered in a thick layer of dust. They all gather around the corpse a thick worn book in the dead man's grasps. The book is black with a big red symbol that looks familiar.

Anakin growls out angry recognizing the symbol," Separatists." Nora had walked over to a old computer seeing it before the others. Nora fiddles with the computer while the others investigate the man and the book. Ahsoka carefully gets the book with a descusted look at the corpse. Ahsoka carefully opened the book to the first page she read to them:

Entry number 1:

We finally have gained some ground on this stupid planet. They keep fighting us off annoyingly enough. We gained this ground off of them now I can get to work. I've been tasked by the Sith Empire to make a powerful and fast creature loyal to the Empire to help keep our hold on this planet. I have grabbed a few test subjects from several planets to start the breeding and cloning procedures. Hopefully, I have enough time on this bloody planet to create my master peice. My droid helper B-17 will be my assistant with Courvan my newest Tweli'lk assistant assigned to me by one of the higher ups so I couldn't refuse him joining me.

Ahsoka asks confused giving the page another look over," The Sith Empire?" Anakin explains glaring at the book," Before the Sith fell they had an Empire filled with Sith and people loyal to them." Ahsoka hums in thought Fives asks looking around the room," I wonder what happened here?" Ahsoka says carefully flipping the pages," Let's check the last entries." Ahsoka found the second last entry she read calmly:

Entry number 32:

They are getting closer and closer to our base underground carefully hidden. Courvan is nervous about being found by those animals. I have to remain calm and focus on my work or chaos will break out. The newest test subjects show promise unlike the last few test subjects who failed the tests. B-17 has been a great help unlike my pathetic coward of an assistant Courvan. We'll have to run more tests before I can say that Project Murdus is a success. The creatures have well adapted to the changes from the experiments. I can't say too much just in case this gets in the hands of our enemy.

Ahsoka says after a second," This guy really hated the people of Serinno." Fives asks interested pointing to the book," What's the last entry say?" Ahsoka flipped the page she reads to them:

Entry number 33:

I put a chemical that if activated will cause the creatures to not be able to handle daylight. It is there if I need to escape so they can't follow after me during the day time. Those animals are almost here and the creatures aren't ready to face them. Reinforcements should be on their way to reinforce the laboratory. Courvan has been distracted from his work B-17 has been fixing his mistakes. When this is taken care of someone else can have Courvan. B-17 has reported that the creatures have become more agitated lately. It shouldn't be a problem.

Anakin says confused," That's it?" Fives says in thought," That doesn't explain what happened here." Ahsoka turns the page she's says suprised," Oh! There's another page hidden behind the other one." Ahsoka gently opens the page farther flattening it out. Ahsoka reads bringing the book closer to see the words better it being slightly faded.

Entry number 34:

We're trapped inside the cave with no escape. The creatures got out of their cages and went on a rampage. Those animals are above us leaving us completely trapped inside. The emergency doors are shut the chemical in the Murdus or creatures are working making them sensitive to sunlight. Courvan went insane after a while getting himself killed by the Murdus. B-17 disappeared probably destroyed by the Murdus... I'm all alone. I made the best clones and how to control them. I stupidly waited to put them in causing this problem. Now I'll die trapped inside my own laboratory with my own creations waiting to eat me.

If anyone finds my laboratory and I'm no longer among the living... look through my computer. It'll have what you need to know if my book didn't survive the password is RamosEagan. I changed it so it won't be difficult to get inside the computer. It should also have everything you'll need to know about the stronghold above us. That they started building a bit ago. I wonder if they'll find me?

Ahsoka says sadly glancing at the corpse," I guess they never found him. He never got to go home." Silence filled the room a hum got the three's attention seeing a big computer on R-7 and Nora standing proud. Nora says happily," While you guys read that I decided to see if I could get this old thing working. R-7 was a big help of course." R-7 whirls happily everyone gathered around the computer as Nora put in the password. Nora says calmly looking through it finding the scientist's file," The password was the scientist's name Ramos Eagan... he was a up and coming scientist pushed into cloning projects. He used to help look through old ruins the Sith Empire would find.

Nora clicks to the next file she continued," Courvan Jillian... a student fresh out of school the top of his class when he was approached by his supervisors. Courvan was forced to join the project his supervisors thinking it'd be a good experience for him. Courvan became Ramos' assistant much to Ramos' displeasure." Fives says quietly," Guess they regretted that choice." Nora says suprised finding another file," This is it! It has everything on the stronghold above us!" Anakin says interested," Huh. I wonder how it's so accurate?"

A voice answered scaring the five," That would be my doing, sir." They all yell out in fright a grey droid face appearing on screen it continues monotone," I am B-17 the once assistant to Ramos Eagon." Ahsoka says suprised," Woah." Fives asks suprised," How are you still around? I thought you disappeared?" B-17 responds monotone," Master Ramos found me not long after finishing his book. He unloaded me into the computer to keep his information safe. He had other research on this computer before passing on."

Nora asks curious," What information?" After a pause B-17 answered defensive," I'm afraid I can't tell you. The last two people I let inside took advantage of some of my information. Taking some of it before I forced shut down to protect the rest of the information. You have awoken me forcibly from the computer when you came in I had shut off." Anakin asked curious motioning to B-17," Did you lead us here?" B-17 answered hesitantly," Yes... You wanted to save your friend so badly you went inside what the Serinno's call," The Cave of Death."

Ahsoka says uncomfortable," Well, we didn't realize how much danger we were putting ourselves into at the time." Anakin asked suddenly having an idea," Did these figures have red lightsabers?" B-17 responds quickly," Yes! They had red lightsabers one had a long white beard with fancy clothes I believe I heard his name was Dooku or something. The other was an old man in a deep red cloak with a gigantic nose using two lightsabers. Anakin growls out when B-17 finished," Dooku was here. Whatever information they stole can't be good. You have to tell us what it is."

B-17 hesitates looking at each of them it sighs before saying," Very well. It wasn't much, but it seemed important to them." B-17's face shrunk a bit a blur of files flashed around the screen before showing a file on Kiber Crystals many pictures of different colored crystals and blades. It had other information with it on the Crystals. Ahsoka asks looking at the crystals," Why would they be interested in information on Kiber Crystals?" Anakin answered bitterly," I don't know Snips. It can't be anything good. Can we have a copy of this file?"

B-17 hesitates Fives steps up saying determined," You can trust General Skywalker B-17. He has only good intentions with this file." There is a pause before B-17 says calmly," Alright. Just use a drive in that cabinet to get the file." An arrow appears pointing to a small wooden cabinet woren with marks on it. Nora carefully opens it grabbing one of the many drives in the cabinet. Nora closes it back up walking back to the computer. Ahsoka asks B-17," What about you?" B-17 says nonchalantly," I'll stay here. I don't want to walk out to another war. I'll wait until then. You guys can come visit anytime though. The Murdus' aren't really good company anyway."

Anakin responds with a gentle smile," You can count on it B-17." R-7 whirls getting their attention B-17 chuckles B-17 says nonchalantly," Yes, it seems I have taken a lot of your time from saving your friend. The Murdus will show you the way out to getting inside the stronghold. He's on the second floor third door to the left. Have fun!" B-17's screen goes black as they say their goodbyes to B-17. A pack of Murdus show them to a path leading to a secret entrance inside the stronghold.
