Chapter 19

We arrived to a small room with a large table and chairs. Lamm sits at the head of the table I sit to the right of the table and Fives sits to the left across from me. A Togruta female brings in a jug with three glasses. She puts it on the table carefully before quickly leaving the room closing the door behind her. Lamm grabs the handle of the jug poring a glass for each of us. Lamm hands us each a glass he says nonchalantly," Apparently Coruscant has had it's fair share of trouble recently in the past week." Lamm takes a sip of his drink completely relaxed.

I ask interested holding the glass with the multiple colored drink inside," How so?" Lamm answered with a chuckle," It seems the Jedi Temple was bombed four days ago. It definitely caused chaos at the Temple." Fives asks really interested," Do they know who did it?" Lamm shrugs leaning back in his seat slowly moving his glass around," They seem to believe a Togruta Jedi did the explosion of the Temple. I was even able to get some friends to snatch some info. After all, I know you too well Y/n." Lamm snaps his fingers the guard to his right came forward giving me a file.

I open it taking out the small projector what it showed shocked Fives and me. I said suprised," What? Ahsoka?" Lamm says with a humm," Supposedly she "killed" the woman. Having personal experience with people being killed with the Force. She's being framed by someone." I ask him on edge," Is this public?" Lamm responds disappointed," Sadly no. The Jedi will probably grovel at the feet of the Republic and do what they want with her." I reply annoyed," Someone is trying to get rid of her for a reason. We have to find out."

Fives says serious," It could be related to that." I nod in agreement getting up I say to Lamm," Thanks for this Lamm. We'll be back shortly." Fives and I quickly leave the room heading to the ship going inside. Nora says suprised seeing us come in," That was quick." I said to R-7 entering the cockpit sitting in my seat," R-7 set coordinates for Coruscant." R-7 hummed doing as told we take off leaving the planet. Nora and Fives walk in Nora said noticing something is going on," What's going on?" Fives answered calmly as we jump to hyperspace," Ahsoka is being framed for murderer."

Nora asks nonchalantly," I'm guessing we're rescuing her?" Fives answered determined," Yeah. We just need a plan." I turn my chair facing them I said calmly," We'll have to be a small group. If we all go it could cause problems for us." Nora hums in thought she suggests," How about R-7 and I keep the ship running, while you and Fives go in and get Ahsoka." Fives says in agreement," Sounds like a plan to me." I say serious turning back around," Alright. We better get ready." We all prepare for our rescue mission."

Fives and I are able to sneak inside the building. We found a computer that told us where Ahsoka is heading that way. I said quietly outside the door," You fire and I block." Fives nods I Force push the door sending it flying. We pause in our fighting stances seeing they were already defeated. Fives says confused," What?" Ahsoka appears coming in the room freezing up seeing all of this. We meet up at the middle where Ahsoka finds her lightsabers and a comlink beeping. Fives kneels down checking on the soldiers.

Ahsoka asks confused picking up her lightsabers," Was this your guy's doing?" I answered serious looking around," I wish. It seems my theory is right about you being framed." Ahsoka responds shocked," Why?" I reply with a shrug," No idea, but we better get going before more trouble comes." Fives comes back over Fives says relieved," They all seem to have been just knocked out. They'll be fine if we leave them here." I nod to Fives looking back at Ahsoka as she picked up the comlink trying to use it. I quickly tried to stop her, but we all freeze hearing a door near us.

We all slowly turned to see a clone in red armor walk in freezing up shocked he says loudly for us to hear," What the..." Fives says quickly," Wait Fox don't!" He slammed his fist on the alarm I said in a hurry," Run!" We quickly run for it I comm Nora I say serious," Hey Nora. We have a slight problem." Nora retorts nonchalantly," Oh really? I couldn't tell from the blaring sounds of the alarm going off. What happened?" I answered jumping over a droid," The person framing Ahsoka beat us here. They have everything set and ready!"

Nora says calmly," So what your saying is you need an escape route." Fives responds leaning over," It'd be great right now." Nora says after a second," R-7 found a way. Just get to the sewers and make to the tunnel down we'll pick you guys up there." Ahsoka asks hopeful," Anyway to pick us up soon?" Nora replied stern," Unless we take the chance of being shot down, no." I say to Nora," We'll save that for... an emergency." Nora asks noticing something is wrong," What's wrong?" I answered quickly," Nothing." I cut the communication Fives said kneeling down next the three dead bodies," This is bad."

We hear yelling getting closer we quickly continue running to escape. Until Anakin called out to Ahsoka she skidded to a stop breathing heavily listening. We stop waiting for her Anakin says determined," Stop running." Ahsoka responds loudly," You can't help me Master, someone is setting me up." Anakin replied earnest," I believe Ahsoka." Ahsoka says seriously," But one else will." We continue running I said to Ahsoka," Stick close to us. It'll be bad if we get separated." Ahsoka nods we get outside being chased around until we escape into the sewer.

We find the my ship waiting Nora waiting at the ramp. Nora waving us to come," Come on guys. We have to hurry before they come this way." We get up the ramp Ahsoka halfway up when Anakin caught up near us he says concerned," Ahsoka, what are you doing?" Ahsoka said to him turning around motioning to herself," You didn't even try to come and help me." Anakin retorts calmly," They wouldn't let me in to talk to you." Ahsoka responds upset," You could have if you tried." Anakin says gently," How would that look Ahsoka, huh? That would have made you look even more guilty." Ahsoka argues upset," I'm not guilty!" Anakin responds calmly," Then we have to prove your innocence. The only way we can do that is by going back."

I spoke up walking back down to Ahsoka," No, she won't. Not with who is in charge of your system and the Jedi Council acting like puppets. The Jedi will abandon her to the Republic who will immediately make her guilty. Ahsoka isn't coming with you Anakin." Anakin is quiet obviously not sure what to say. Ahsoka says gently to him," Y/n and Fives will help me. I need you to trust me." Anakin responds worried," I do trust you Ahsoka." Ahsoka says with a small smile," I know you do. Wish us luck." I hear Nora talking to R-7 we slowly desend downwards Ahsoka coming in after a second inside the ship with me.
