Chapter 10

Y/n pov

I went on a walk down the streets bored Dad went on a bounty with Mom to have "Mom and Dad time". I wasn't expecting someone to walk into me I turn around to see a clone weridly by himself not wearing a helmet. The Clone looks at me shocked he asks hopeful," Your Y/n Bane aren't you?" I answered suspicious," Yes, I don't believe anyone's stupid enough to fake being me." The Clone says desperately," I need your help, please. I know something really important and their hunting me."

I studied his face knowing he's telling the truth. I said with a sigh," Alright. It's not like I was doing anything important anyway. Come on, follow me." He does as told sticking close to me probably afraid I'll disappear on him. We arrived at my place a larger space than Dad's place. The Clone looks around I said nonchalantly," I live by myself so we should be fine." The Clone says relieved," I'm Fives." I said calmly sitting down at the dining table," I'm Y/n as you already know. Come have a seat, you wanted to tell me something, correct?"

He nods sitting across from me telling me everything about his little adventure from beginning to end. I ask suspicious raising an eyebrow going unseen under my mask," She injected you with something?" He nods I ask getting up heading to one of my cabinets," Be honest. Have you noticed changes?" He answered in deep thought," Well, I have been feeling a little off and... slightly dizzy. But I'm fine. I'm sure it's just everything going on stressing me out." I respond stern getting some medicine," It's not. She poisoned you. You have to take this immediately." He asks confused and surprised watching me warily," What? Why?"

I say walking back to the table with a glass of water," Because Fives it messes with your head, which will slowly drives you insane." Fives blinks suprised he looks hesitant I sigh putting the glass down next taking my mask off putting it on the table. I look him directly in the eyes saying seriously," It will drive you insane. Just... trust me on this." I hold out the pill to him Fives looks at it then at me again. He finally made up his mind taking the pill seeming to decide to trust me. He watches me as I sit down taking the pill. After a bit I ask curious my knees resting on the table hands cradling my head," Feel better Fives?"

After a second he answered relieved," Yeah, thanks. I half expected to pass out." I said with a chuckle," If I was going to take you in you would have been out already." He asked hopeful," So, you believe me?" I answered nonchalantly motioning around," Obviously, or I wouldn't have let you in my house." Fives replied nervously," I guess you have a point." I ask curious leaning back against the chair," Do you have a plan?" Fives gives me a confused look I continued relaxed," I figure you want to try to tell others right? Even though it most likely won't be fruitful."

Fives asks confused," What do you mean?" I answered calmly," Simply that if your right about the Chancellor then whatever report or things you say will fall on deaf ears." Fives responds determined," I have to try. I at least have to tell the General and Rex. They have to know." I sigh I say relaxed," Alright. I know you'll get yourself killed otherwise. I'll help you." Fives says happy," Really?" I answered nonchalantly keeping eye contact with him," Yes, but I will warn you that this will not go how you think it will. Afterwards, you'll owe me. Understand?" Fives nods I ask serious," Okay then, what's your plan Fives?"

Fives plan sort of worked he got to talk with Skywalker and Rex for a bit before Clones came to attack. I had to slow them down then go inside after Fives. I tell Fives what's going on quickly getting ourselves out of there leaving Skywalker and Rex to be freed by the Clones. I ask curious sitting down in the poilet seat R-7 happily greeting us," How'd it go?" Fives says bitterly," Not great like you said. Hopefully it was at least enough." It wasn't, nothing changed like I thought it would I'm wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants like Fives who is sitting at the table having borrowed some clothes to wear from me. He sighs sadly he says bitterly," You were right, nothing changed."

I say calmly handing him breakfast," They will need facts to believe Fives. No one just believes on something at this scale by words alone." Fives asks curious," Then what should we do?" I answered calmly," For now. Nothing. You'll be working with me. After all you owe me. Remember?" Fives says calmly," Yes, I remember. What do you want me to do exactly?" I answered nonchalantly sitting across from him with my breakfast," Be my partner. We'll do jobs together." Fives looks suprised I ask calmly looking to him from my breakfast," Did you expect something different?"

Fives chuckles nervously he answers uncomfortable," Possibly." I say with a smirk," Don't worry. I have a second room." Fives coughs having choked on his drinking making me laugh amused. Fives says embarrassed," Nothing like that was on my mind." I ask raising my eyebrow," I was meaning you won't have to sleep on the couch. What did you think I meant?" Fives clears his throat saying uncomfortable," Nothing. Just suprised, sir." I say nonchalantly grabbing my drink," Just call me Y/n. No need for formalities."

Fives nods eating breakfast as we have a quiet breakfast. We put the dishes in the sink going to the living room I say calmly sitting on my favorite comfy chair," Now we have to get you a suit." Fives asks confused," Why?" I answered nonchalantly," Because, it's going to be hard to blend in wearing Clone armor." He thinks it over agreeing with me he asks motioning to me," Where should we start?" I answered with a grin," I know the perfect place." I get changed into my suit Fives back in normal clothes for the time being.

We get to my ship R-7 greeting us like normal. Fives asks as we sit down," Where are we going?" I answered nonchalantly," To a special moon called Dxun. You'll see why it's so special soon." We land on the forested moon R-7 tagging along with us. Fives asks curious," Why are we here? Not at a market or something?" I answered with a smirk," You'll see." We find the hidden bunker I say nonchalantly to R-7," You know what to do." R-7 opens the door we walk inside corpses of rusted destroyed old droids lay on the ground grenade marks all over the floor. I say walking past the droids," This way."

Fives followed as I open a secret entrance carefully hidden that I accidentally found a while back. We head down R-7 lighting the way down. R-7 turns on the lights that flickered on for us to see. Fives asks confused," Is this a factory?" I answered nonchalantly looking around," Yes. It's an old Mandalorian factory." Fives looks around curious as I look around. Fives asks curious after looking around," What's this?" I came over I seeing the armor," Old Mandalorian armor. You found the the armory before I did."

Fives puts it on curious he says suprised," It fits. The best part is I like it." I reply nonchalantly," Great. It's yours then. We better get going." Fives asks curious," Why?"  I answered calmly," It's because this place could get invaded with creatures if we stay too long." Fives nods in understanding putting his new helmet on. We leave the bunker with R-7 heading back to the ship. We go back to Coruscant heading to my place.
