A couple of days later

Jungkook had continued to confuse Sienna with his words and actions. One moment he was nice, the next he was cold. Not only did it confuse the girl, it also hurt her feelings very much. Most of the days when she finally decided to come out of her isolation, her beautiful green eyes were red and swollen from crying. She had called her mom, but due to the time difference, it was difficult to keep in touch regularly.

It was tuesday when Sienna finally felt a little bit better. Jungkook had gone out, giving her some time to not worry about him being around and wondering what his mood was going to be like.

She took the chance to finish one of her favorite books while listening to some relaxing orchestral music.
Suddenly, a knock on the door caught Sienna off guard. She got dragged back into reality, just as she was loving it in her own little fantasy world. She tilted her head. 'Who would come here?' she wondered. After putting her book away, Sienna walked to the door. "Sienna, open up. It's me" A familiar voice called. The girl frowned as she opened the door. "Jeon Jungkook, you have the keys-" She said to the tall boy who now stood in front of her. He had a large box in his hands and said "Kinda had my hands full, sorry"

Sienna raised her eyebrows. He seemed to be in a good mood today.
"What's in the box?" She asked curiously as Jungkook passed her by. He turned to her with a big smile. This was the first time she got to see him smile like that, so pure. His eyes became narrower, his cheeks rounder and he overall just looked like a bunny. And she loved it.

"I've got you something, come over here." Sienna walked over to where he was standing. "Sit down, sit down" He seemed incredibly excited, which somehow made Sienna a little nervous. She sat down on her knees and Jungkook soon followed with the box in hand. He put it down in between them and looked eagerly at Sienna, then back at the box. "Go on, look at it." As Sienna put out a hand to look in the box, it suddenly moved. The girl flinched and said  "Jeon Jungkook, what did you do?" "Don't be scared, it won't bite. I think." He urged her. The girl couldn't figure out whether he was joking or not. But, decided to slowly open the box anyway. Sienna gasped as she saw what was inside.
"Jungkook!" She exclaimed. Staring back at her from the inside of the cardboard box was a small, fluffy Maine Coon kitten. Its blue eyes stared curiously at Sienna, then at its surroundings. Its white fur was all ruffled up from the journey home. Sienna carefully picked the little thing up and held it against her chest, softly scratching its cheeks. She didn't even know what to say. The only thing was "Jungkook.. I- Why?" she laughed as she was so surprised she didn't know how else to react. Jungkook looked just about as excited as she was, but for a different reason. He felt good, because he had made her feel good. "Well," he started. "when we had dinner the other night, you told me about your cat at home, and I knew you were sad so I figured you must miss home a lot and I thought this would be the way to cheer you up." Jungkook's voice became softer with each word until he was just mumbling, but Sienna caught everything he said.
She was surprised he even remembered the things she had told him that night.

"Thank you, Jungkook. That's very considerate of you. I really appreciate it." The girl looked at the kitten that had snuggled up against her. Apparently, her arms and chest were a fine place to take a nap. She caught Jungkook staring at the kitten with a warm smile and asked "You want to hold him?"

Jungkook seemed to doubt for a while. "Uh, I don't know how to," Sienna laughed and said "Don't worry, it's easy. Here, put one hand behind his front paws to support his chest and with the other hand you support his hind legs and bum," Sienna acted it out to show her roommate, who was watching eagerly. "See?" He nodded and held his hands out. The boy giggled cutely when he noticed the kitten was so small he could practically hold it in one hand. The little kitty seemed to love Jungkook from the moment they set eyes on each other and made himself comfortable on Jungkook's tattooed forearm. Sienna melted at the sight of the two together.
While standing up to stretch her legs she said "Well, I suppose we're gonna be co-parents now" "B-But I got it for you, though." Sienna nodded. "I know and I love the little guy already, but he has obviously chosen you as his dad. So you have no choice young man. I mean, look at him." She pointed at the little ball of fluff that had dozed off to sleep already, resting carelessly on Jungkook, who suddenly looked a little worried. "Oh, he's sleeping. What about my arm." He let out a groan. "I don't want to wake him." he said with a pout. Sienna sometimes still found it hard to believe that this guy had two sides to him, which were polar opposites of each other. When he was like this, she pretty much felt completely comfortable being near him, but as soon as switched to being cold, she wanted to run far away from him. "So," Jungkook spoke softly as to not wake the little guy. "What do you want to name him?" "How about Yuki? It means snow in Japanese. Seems fitting for our little white boy." Jungkook nodded. "Yes, I like that."

The next couple of days, Jungkook kept going to pet stores and every day, he came home with new toys and came up with new ways to 'catify' the house. Even though he had bought the kitten for his roommate, he seemed to love it equally as much as she did. After a week the two had an entire box full of cat toys and treats. "I think we should stop buying things for him Jungkook." She looked over at the cat who, despite having so many toys to choose from, seemed to like the cardboard box he came in the best. Suddenly, a loud sound caught the both of them off guard. Jungkook's phone was ringing. He looked to see who was calling him and excused himself, before walking off into his room and picking up.

When he came back and Sienna asked who it was, he simply answered "Just a friend of mine", but didn't go into detail. The girl decided to let it go. She'd come to terms with the fact that Jungkook still remained quite mysterious and that he didn't like talking about his personal life. "I'm going to take a shower," said Sienna, giving Yuki one last kiss on his fluffy head before walking off into her room.

When Sienna was done showering, she could hear a lot of noise coming from the living room. She quietly listened at the door as she wasn't sure what she was hearing. There seemed to be a lot of voices all of a sudden. She only recognized one; her roommate's. She took off the towel she'd put around her hair and dried it off some more before putting it up in a bun. She took a deep breath and nervously opened the door to the living room. All the noises she'd heard suddenly stopped as six pairs of unfamiliar eyes were now staring at her.
