Chapter 5: There's 7 of them?!

Sienna gulped.
There were now seven boys in her living room. And they were all staring at one thing:

her.

She didn't know where to look, she just wanted to run back into her room and lock the door. But before she got the chance, Jungkook spoke.
"Guys, this is my roommate. Her name is Sienna Park and she is from Italy. Please be nice to her."
    He looked around nervously, waiting for someone to react. The first one to do so was a boy with grayish, blonde hair, which was parted at the side. He stood up to properly greet Sienna. His eyes were like those of a fox, while he had very plump, pink lips.
His dark eyebrows and the hungry look in his eyes made him look intimidating. He seemed to be quite a bit shorter than Jungkook was, but his attitude surpassed Jungkook's by far.
"My name is Park Jimin," he said, while eyeing Sienna up and down. The girl covered her body with her arms as he smirked. It was clear he liked what he saw.
Not knowing what to do, Sienna looked at Jungkook with a pair of eyes that said "help me?". Jungkook understood and waved for her to come closer.
"Come over here," he said.
"these guys aren't as scary as they look, I promise." The girl chose to sit next to her roommate, at the edge of the couch. So at least he was in between her and the strangers.

"Nice to meet you Sienna," a deep voice said. It gave her goosebumps. The owner of the voice was a tall boy with brown wavy hair. It was so long it almost entirely covered his eyes. He had a sharp jawline and smiled slightly as his eyes met Sienna's.

"Alright guys, enough with the introductions already. We came here for a reason."
   The person who said this was nonchalantly sitting in the corner part of the couch. Sienna leaned forward to be able to see him. He was wearing a red Supreme headband, causing his black hair to be pushed back. He had a rather round face shape and stern eyes, which avoided Sienna's gaze.

     He looked at Jungkook and waved his hand to gesture he should get rid of her. Jungkook looked at his roommate awkwardly before saying.
"Would you mind... giving us some alone time?"
The girl gladly obliged, taking little Yuki with her and locking herself in her room while she felt seven pairs of eyes on her back.
As she closed the door behind her, she let herself slide down onto the ground and sighed heavily.

God, was she happy to be out of that situation.

There was something off about those guys, the same thing that was off about Jungkook even though he seemed to come around lately. One of those was enough for Sienna to deal with, let alone seven. When it came to first impressions, she was glad she got paired up with Jungkook instead of any of the other dudes. They seemed to be a lot worse. Especially the guy with the red headband. He seemed to have zero emotions. When Sienna had looked into his eyes, she'd seen nothing but a darkness, an emptiness. As if he had never experienced joy.

Leaning with her back against the wall, the girl could hear the voices softly speaking.
"Are you sure she can't hear us?" an unfamiliar voice said. Jungkook answered with "Yeah, pretty sure. The walls are quite thick."
    
Sienna contemplated what to do. Eavesdropping was a bad thing, yet these boys were being so secretive and she was curious to find out what their deal was. So, while playing with the white kitten, she decided to stay where she was and just listen for a little while.

"Alright then, Taehyung, you had new information?"

"Yes," the deep voice answered. Sienna recalled the boy with the wavy hair and sharp jawline. 'So you're Taehyung, okay.' She tried her best to remember the name.

"It seems I have been able to locate Tenebris."
His comment earned a series of gasps. "It is hidden in a dungeon beneath the tallest building in the city. I accidentally came across it while out scouting the area. But was unable to retrieve, because as we all know, only Jungkook can touch it."

Sienna's brain seemed to have an error. First of all, she had no idea who or what 'Tenebris' was, but her first thought was that it would have to be a person, since it kinda sounded like a name. But as Taehyung continued to speak and said 'dungeon' and 'only Jungkook can touch it' she was sure this definitely was NOT a person they were talking about. The girl stared into the distance while continuing to listen to the boys' conversation.

"That's good news, Jungkook," she heard Jimin say. That guy gave Sienna the creeps. The way he looked at her like she was some piece of candy that he wanted to devour.

"Let's hope Tenebris will help you fully restore your power, and then we can take them on."

Jungkook spoke next "Okay, I will go and retrieve it soon. I'll just have to make up some excuse, or else Sienna might get suspicious. She already seems to know that something is off. So we need to be careful around her."

"If she knows too much, then take her out." The boy with the red headband said. Sienna's eyes widened as she put a hand over her mouth to conceal her gasp. She now officially knew something was very wrong here. The first thing that came to her mind was 'they must be in a gang'
      Luckily for Sienna, Jungkook wasn't happy with the comment either.
"That girl is innocent and will not be hurt!" He raised his voice in such a way that even Sienna felt it inside of her room. It made her flinch, the boy sounded really damn angry.

"Since when does innocence matter to you?" Taehyung spoke again. "These are the rules, that for your information, YOU set up. We all have to follow them. Remember who you are Jeon Jungkook. Don't grow soft. Not even for that pretty roommate of yours."

It stayed silent after that. It seemed the boys were leaving, much to Sienna's relief. She tightly held the kitten that was fast asleep in her arms. From now on, the girl would have to act normal when Jungkook was around, without giving away anything that revealed that she had heard their entire conversation. At this point, she didn't even know if the 'take her out' comment really meant killing her, but she rather not take any chances. It was at least nice to know that it wasn't Jungkook's intention to hurt her. Maybe one day, when she and Jungkook were a bit closer and they trusted each other fully, she would dare to ask questions. But for now, she pretended to know nothing.

When the coast was clear, Jungkook called for her. Sienna decided to not even bring his friends up anymore. There many things she wanted to say about those six guys. Especially the guy with red headband, whom she thought was the ultimate asshole. But, being afraid the wrong words would slip out of her mouth, Sienna decided to focus on other things.

"Hey," Jungkook said all of a sudden. The girl jumped at the sound of his voice before turning to him. "Yeah?" her voice sounded insecure. "Wanna go to this dog cafe tomorrow?" Jungkook turned his phone screen to her to show a picture of all kinds of cute dogs they had at the cafe.

Sienna laughed, partially because it was cute and partially out of relief. She nodded. "Sure, let's go there tomorrow."
