Thursday

The city of Seoul was clouded in mist when Jungkook drove his car around the busy streets. Next to him sat a taller man, jamming to the radio music. He'd dyed his hair blonde, and wore glasses. "Namjoon hyung, you know what the tallest building in the city is?"

Namjoon answered "That would be Lotte World Tower" He was the smartest amongst Jungkook's friends and was therefore an important addition to the group. "Then that is where we shall go"

The weather was gloomy. Dark clouds hung above the city as the two friends made there way to Lotte World Tower. It was there that their mission would begin. Retrieving Tenebris. The supernatural great sword that draws its powers straight from Hell. And it belonged.. to Jungkook.

As the large skyscraper, that was Lotte World Tower, came into sight, Jungkook's fists tightened around the steering wheel. "I can feel it's near. It's calling to me" The boy said. The gaze in his eyes darkened as he thought about his powerful weapon, and the people who had stolen it from him. Tenebris was like his partner. It seemed to have a will of its own and therefore, only decided to listen to its true master. Anyone that dared to touch it without permission would be turned straight to dust. "Be prepared to fight," said Namjoon as Jungkook parked the car near the tower. "Such an important thing as Tenebris will not be left unguarded." Jungkook nodded, knowing they were putting themselves in danger by doing this, but it had to be done. He wasn't whole without his sword. Over the course of thousands of years it had become a part of him and being apart felt like missing part of himself.

"I'm ready to teach whoever's out there a lesson. I'll show them what happens when you take stuff that doesn't belong to you." He opened the car door and got out, obviously frustrated. The muscles in his jaw were visible as he clenched it so hard Namjoon feared for the boy's teeth. He ran up to Jungkook, quickly catching up due to his long legs and said "Okay, so how about we do this stealthily? We sneak in, take out anyone in our way, silently, and get out as fast as we can."

Although Namjoon was the master of strategies, that didn't mean Jungkook always liked his ideas. Namjoon always wanted to do things without too much bloodshed and violence. "No, we go in with our heads held high," said Jungkook. His eyes darkened completely until there was no trace of color left in them. It was a sign of his rage. He looked back at Namjoon and said"Anyone who's foolish enough to try and stop me will be thrown directly into Hell. They will be reminded of who I am, and the fact they should not get in my way."

Meanwhile, back at home. Sienna laid flat on the couch. Her heart felt heavy. Jungkook had said he would go out with his friends today, and probably wouldn't be home before dark. But she knew what he was really doing. After having overheard their conversation a couple of days back, Sienna knew this moment would come and it made her nervous. Not knowing what the boy was up to because she didn't know who or what Tenebris was and what it meant to her roommate. She just hoped he would come home soon. After feeling like Jungkook had finally come around, the girl started to miss his presence as soon as he left.

At Lotte World Tower, Jungkook and Namjoon were looking for a way to enter the dungeons that lay beneath. It was Namjoon who first noticed something was off. "They must've used some kind of glamour to conceal the entrance."

Jungkook looked around and sniffed the air. "Yeah, seems like that's not the only thing that's concealed. It reeks of white magic." He smirked as rain started to pour down from the sky. He closed his eyes, held out his left hand to the building and said in a strong voice "Release!". Namjoon held up his arms, knowing what was to come. A shockwave hit the two boys, causing Namjoon to stumble back while Jungkook stood his ground. And there it was, only a few feet away from them, a wooden trap door appeared. Namjoon took it upon himself to open it. He grunted as he lifted the heavy door and then looked at Jungkook, gesturing down. "The honor is all yours." The younger one grinned and jumped down into the dungeons without hesitation. It was pitch black down there, the only sound being the boys' breathing. With a snap of his fingers, Jungkook created a small flame, which he controlled with the motion of his hand. Even in this dim light, Namjoon could see his smug face. "Do you really have to flaunt your powers like that?" "Yes, it's been a while since I've used them."

"Yes, it must be difficult. Especially now when that girl from Italy's around all the time." said Namjoon as they walked through the dark corridors, not knowing where it would lead them.

Jungkook nodded "It is. I just wish I could show her my true self." His voice softened as he talked about Sienna. "You know that's forbidden-" Namjoon's lecture was cut off when they entered a large square room. In the left corner stood an object, leaning against the stone wall. It gave off a purple glow which seemed to pulse as though it was a beating heart. Jungkook's face lit up. He immediately wanted to run towards it, but Namjoon held his bicep. "What?!" Jungkook said frustrated. "Something doesn't add up. This was way too easy." He was right. Since they entered the dungeons, they hadn't run into any problems. "As I said before, angels might be our enemies, but they aren't dumb. They wouldn't leave the ultimate weapon unattended."

"Maybe they forgot," Jungkook shrugged and pulled away from his hyung's grip. He walked slowly to the other side of the room. His guard was up thanks to Namjoon's warning, but to their surprise, he got to his weapon without any setbacks.

Jungkook let out a relieved sigh as he wrapped his hand around the silver handle of the sword. The dark purple blade stopped pulsing and now fully gave off its bright light. The boy swung it a few times, his smile getting bigger every time he heard the swish of the blade cutting through the air. "Okay, we got what we came for, now let's get out of here." Namjoon called.

He had a feeling something could go wrong at any moment and he wanted to get out before it did. Jungkook led the way out. This time, the light Tenebris gave off was enough for them to see where they were going.

As the boys stepped climbed out of the trap door, they were greeted by an unfamiliar voice. "Well well, look what we have here. I thought I smelled vermin, guess I was right."
As soon as Jungkook had crawled out and stood upright, he realized they had been surrounded. He looked at the person in front of him, which was the one who spoke. It was a boy, he looked like he was in his twenties. He had beautiful golden locks of curly hair, which danced in the wind. His blue eyes looked so peaceful, yet fierce. He stood proudly, his head held high and his shoulder back. On his back there was a pair of white, feathered wings. They were so big, the feathers on the bottom dragged across the ground as he walked. Jungkook gulped as he stared at the magnificent wings.

The boy chuckled. "I bet you miss yours." He fully spread his wings as a way of asserting his dominance, but Jungkook regained his confidence and smirked.

"Sure, wings are pretty. But what good are they if you're weak."

The blonde angel gritted his teeth. "Go back to Hell. This is your last warning, or else we'll have to do this forcefully."

Namjoon looked at his friend with a questioning expression as to say "What should we do?" Jungkook gave him a reassuring nod and whispered "Get ready to fight." He then turned to the angel with the long wings and said clearly "I don't think you're in the position to make threats, angel," He said the last word with an obvious expression of disgust. "You might have outnumbered us, but you have been stupid. You allowed me to reunite with Tenebris." He held up his sword, proudly showing off his possession. "You should've gotten to me earlier, then you might've actually stood a chance, but for now, be smart and go back to where you came from"

The angel didn't budge at Jungkook's words. "Us pure beings do now run away, not even from you"

"Too bad, then I have no choice but to kill every single one of you"

Jungkook pointed his sword towards the sky, causing a beam of purple light to shoot out of the blade. As soon as it disappeared in between the clouds, a loud, thunder-like bang was heard. The entire atmosphere change and so did the look in Jungkook's eyes. He was the King of Hell, and they would soon find out why.
