Reader is tired of playing games and acting like her and Rossi aren't a thing. She decides to make a point. Rossi is just along for the ride.

Warnings: age-gap, choking, rough sex.

The weeks had been exhausting. Several dire cases, loss of lives, and whatnot. It didn't help you and Rossi had been sending each other suggestive looks. But neither of you acted on it.

You knew he had to like you. He would fight tooth and nail for you to hang back while other team members broke through the doors to corner the unsub. It pissed you off, making it look like you couldn't handle yourself.

You confronted him once and he shrugged it off, saying Derek was better suited going in first. But you worked just as hard as Derek, could take down a man twice your size if needed. You tried to point this out, but Rossi only walked off as if he didn't care to hear it anymore.

It was frustrating. It was affecting you both. It had to be because he had feelings for you. More than a fatherly feeling. You caught him looking you over once at the conference table. You caught his eye, but he only held your gaze, as if challenging you to say something in front of everyone.

You didn't mind his looks. You found it kinda hot and mysterious. But you did mind the protectiveness, the dominance he tried to force on you. He'd tell Hotch to hold you back and it would be done, Hotch not really finding anything wrong with it.

But you knew. You knew Rossi wanted you. God, you could see it in his eyes. Every time you got close to him, it was as if he was fighting off his instincts.

And now, today was your last straw. You had just come back from a rough case. Rossi had been his usual protective self and you could see the others starting to notice.

Who wouldn't now? The man had put himself between you and a goddamn knife like a psycho. Luckily, Hotch had put a bullet through the unsub's head before he could stab Rossi.

You had pulled Rossi aside and told him off, yelling at him that he shouldn't have done that. He only furrowed his eyebrows and walked off, clenching his fists.

You had seen Hotch pull him aside and scold him for his recklessness. It made you feel better knowing the others were starting to see this over protective streak.

On the jet, to your surprise, Rossi had sat down beside you. He didn't say anything and you didn't either. He sat there the whole jet ride, focusing on his paperwork. But you knew why he was there, what he was doing. It was as if he was apologizing without saying the words. You also knew he was trying to get close to you, make sure you were okay after the shit case.

When everyone had gotten back to the BAU, he had watched you carefully. You almost said something, but shook your head, walking away to your car. You knew he watching you, making sure you got to your car.

And as you sat on your apartment sofa, your mind kept going back to him. How he had blindly protected you. How he would get weird if you went out with the team and a guy flirted with you.

You found yourself blushing at the idea of kissing him, of letting his rough hands explore your body. And then you got pissed thinking about how he never say anything, he just goes on like it's nothing.

One minute he's burning hot, the next he's as cold as ice. This thought had you out of your apartment and driving towards his house. You had to do something, had to show him you didn't care if he was twenty-five years older than. That you wanted him just as bad.

You stood on his front porch, your face contorted into a scowl as you knocked several times. You heard him call, "Hold on!"

And then the door opened and Rossi stood there in all his essence. The top three buttons of his black dress-shirt were undone, his hair ruffled from his fingers going through it.
