Unnatural Love

Chapter 2

"The distraction."

After the sorting and the feast, us Hufflepuff's made our way up to our common room. Walking through the big wooden doors into the bright colored room, plants hanging from the ceilings, some plants sitting on the windowsill, the moonlight beaming through the many windows around the room, and the fresh smell of clean clean air all made me smile.

Some of us went right to our dorms, while others showed the new Hufflepuff's around, and the rest chilled in the common room. I was one of those people who went straight to their dorm, I wanted to unpack my trunk and decorate my dorm for the year!

Since there isn't very many people in the Hufflepuff house, most of us get our own dorm. That is unless you request to share with someone in specific. So, like the majority of us, I had my own!

I finish packing a while later, setting an outfit on my bathroom counter for when I was ready to take a shower. It was fairly late by now, some kids were probably already asleep, especially because it's past curfew. So, I was pretty startled when I heard a knock at my door,                    "Uhh- I- umm, come in!"

"Oh Y/n, thank god you are awake! My roommate, Daphne Greengrass, is literally shagging Draco right now." She  says pretending to gag. "Wait what?" I utter in surprise. I thought that Draco and Astoria Greengrass were dating last year. Or maybe she was just one of his recent hook ups. Seeming he got tired of her, he moved on to her little sister.  I feel bad, but at the same time, that's what you get if you date Malfoy.

"Uhhh- Draco! You're so big! Uhhh- I-I-I. Dracoooooooo." She mocks, falling dramatically onto my bed. "Ew! Stop!" I laugh, lightly smacking her with a pillow, making her laugh too. "Can I please crash here for tonight?" Her eyes grow, giving me a look I cant resist. I sigh as scoot over on the bed, giving her more space to lay down. She spreads out on the bed squealing, saying "You're a life saver, baby!". Smiling so innocently, eyebrows scrunched, and eyes practically closed.

I roll my eyes, laughing at the face she was making, "You are so obnoxious!". She glancing over to me with her glossy green eyes, and perfect shaped nose. Her big gashing smile turns into a smirk as she says, "You love me!".

I head to the bathroom a while later, heating up the water for when I get in. I brush out my hair, and undress myself, staring at my figure through the mirror until it started fogging up. That was my cue telling me that the shower was ready. I step in slowly, letting my skin adjust to the new temperature. Standing under the shower head, letting the boiling water hit my face and soak my hair. Letting out a deep breath, relieving all the stress that was once inside of me.

I wash my body, the foaming soap dripping down with the water. Conditioning only the tips of my hairs, and shaving until I'm completely smooth. I step out of the shower, having the fog trail behind me from the condensation that has built up. I feel fresh and relieved. Mentally prepared for school tomorrow, but now sure if I was physically.

I throw on a hoodie, it was fairly large, I have to roll up the sleeves just to see my hands, and it goes past my waist. But it wasn't so big that it went past my knees! I pull up a pair of shorts, which I normally wouldn't do, but since Pansy is over I decided too.

I finish off my night by brushing my teeth and washing my face, keeping my skin smooth was very important to me, I worked hard for my nice skin during the summer and I was planning on keeping it that way.

I walk back into my bedroom seeing Pansy passed out on the bed. One foot daggling over the side, her body up right yet her face still somehow shoved in the pillow, her arms were over her head, and the blanket was practically on the ground. This is going to be a fun night.
