"𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀!"

"𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓." 𝐇𝐔𝐗𝐋𝐄𝐘 sighed as he grabbed Darcie's shoulders lightly and turned her to face him. "This is it, now you know what we've spoke about, you trained, you're strong and smart. I know you can do this Darcie, you have it in you."

"Thank you, for everything." Darcie replied, smiling lightly up at him.

Huxley chuckled slightly and brought her into a warm embrace, "Good luck kiddo."

Darcie said her goodbyes to Huxley before walking off to an aircraft, where she was escorted to her seat and injected, "What was that?" Darcie asked the woman.

"Your tracker." She replied, moving onto the tribute from district 3.

The aircraft took of, all the tributes sitting in an awkward silence, some of the careers eyeing the other tributes hungrily, as if they were choosing who their first targets would be.

Darcie knew she was going to be targeted.

She was small, fragile and seemed weak. Not only that but she got a ten, meaning the other tributes, especially the careers, would want to take her out first.

She wasn't going to have that.

If she was going to die in those games, it would be heroically, she would go out with a bang, not in a stupid blood bath at the start of the games.

She was going to show them why she got a ten.

She was going to be feared.

She was going to rise, and she would bow to no one.

"𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐈𝐄!" 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃 as Darcie entered the room.

Each tribute was to be seen of by one capitol representative. So Darcie was given Pearl and Aramis was given Melanie.

Pearl embraced the young girl, squeezing her tightly.

"You can do this." She stated, after she pulled away from Darcie and grabbed a jacket from the rack.
