Class in the academy is no different than classes that are scarce of the knowledge of Wonders.

There are the normal compulsory subjects like math, english, science and history. Yet there were also mandatory subjects you could take, as well as school clubs.

Wilbur had opted to list all the subjects in the school (with short descriptions) and print it for Fundy to see.

He recommended Fundy to take AniMorph, as well as Coding and Programming. Which Fundy gladly agreed. And much to Wilbur's surprise, Fundy also expressed an interest in taking music, more specifically, the piano.

So today was the day. Fundy's subjects, classes, and uniform had been picked out. And now he was officially ready to start school.

The academy had a total of 5 years. First year mainly for students from the age of 13 to 14, second year from 14 to 15, and so on. Even so, this "age rule" wasn't as controlled as other schools.

Whenever new Wonders were found and brought to the school, even if they were older than the expected age, they would most likely start in one of the first years. This was so the students didn't miss any important information.

And these years that they would get held back wouldn't be wasted. The teachers in the academy were the best in the world.

They didn't want their students to regret or be agitated about ending up here.

So it was common to see a 16-year-old doing English in a class full of 14-year-olds, and math with 17-year-olds.

The school was weird like that.

Fundy is 16-years-old, turning 17 that year. Though after a few tests, they decided to put him with the second years for History, English and Science, and fourth years for Math.

It genuinely surprised Wilbur how spread out his talents were.

He was also a year higher in skill for Math. Which Wilbur guessed that the knowledge came from his skill in coding

As for AniMorph, Coding and Programming, and Music. They've decided to put Fundy with the first years for AniMorph, Music with his fellow third years, and with the fifth years for Coding and Programming.

Now that the plans were completed, it was time for him to actually go to class.

It wasn't uncommon for people to join the classes halfway through the year. Actually it happened more than it should.

They generally only did the split-year education system when the person going to school didn't have a proper education before coming.

When Niki came, she was 17 years old. As she'd lived a pretty normal life before coming. All her classes were with her fellow fourth years, and for the classes she was more knowledgeable in, she was placed in the extension.
