The Choice 02

At the falling night, the ball start and everyone were dancing as the musicians play some classic music, Sonic was sitting on his throw watching everyone enjoying the ball, as for the Sir Lancelot, he was standing on his side holding his sword if there any danger, as behind the throne there's a hug window showing the dark night sky lighting up with the light of the moon and the stars above the Royal garden where a dark hedgehog spy on the throne room from the window behind the branch of the tree.

He keep watching Sonic and sir Lancelot as he feels a little fire burning him inside but why he wonder, at the same time Sonic felt a little bored and The loyal knight notice it and got a idea as he look at the ball and the king many time, he got in front of the king and offer his hand to him as a invitation for the dance, he was confused first seconds and instantly smile as he accepted his invitation and get from the throne chair and join him as he rest his hands on the knight arms and walk toward the middle of ball, everyone went back making a circle space so they can dance freely.

The musicians start another classic music as they both starts to dance, just we see and read in the fairytales, everyone watch and enjoy the dance except the a Ultimate Life Form, something in him make his blood boiled he don't know why, he keep watching them growling to himself as he suddenly asked himself what if he was with Sonic dancing instead of the knight?, this question keep in his head as he look again at the dance and how Sonic look happy, loving this dancing moment, He doesn't need to imagine himself with Sonic dancing since he literally see it, but that it's only the king and the dance, not Sonic and Shadow.

After few hours the ball was over and everyone leave the place, Sir Lancelot accompanied the king to his room as Shadow manage to follow them inside the castle by jumping through one of the open windows of the castle without being caught he heard a conversation between them about meeting outside of the castle after midnight, the ULF wanted to talk to Sonic to ask him about them, what does he feel toward him?, is he still love him? Or not? Can he give him a chance ? A chance to try to love?...The most important question now was, how would he get closer to him if this Knight won't leave him ? He suddenly got a idea.

After Sonic was in his room he followed Sir Lancelot to his, get in and knock him out before stealing his armor and wear it, he went out of the castle and wait for him with the horse, like planned and after a hour a mysterious presence approached to ULF, he grab the sword pointed toward it, he heard a familiar chuckle removing his cape revealing himself lighting by moon light .

" Always On Guard I See"

The mysterious person was only the King Sonic, Shadow blush as he saw him coming closer to him, he take a quite deep breath and hop on his horse offerings his hand to Him, The Blue king hold it and Jump behind Shadow and warp his arms around Shadow's Armor, The ULF's face was more redder than before as his heart start to beat faster once Sonic lay his head on his back of his shoulder.

He wonder why did he suddenly feel so nervous? He never felt that before and surely never with Sonic, than why all sudden? Since when this emotions ever excited in his heart?, the horse start walking on his own toward the forest having no idea where to go, all he mind do is focusing on Sonic touch.

After a few moment walking in the dark forest, Shadow notice something, like a peace of heaven lighting it, he drag the horse there and found a beautiful purple flower fields lighting up by the moon light, Sonic ,who was asleep, wake up by the moon light rubbing his eyes and saw the landscape.

" Lancelot, this place..... is fantastic, is this you wanted to show me ?"

Shadow heart was beating faster on each word Sonic said, he only nod and jump out of his horse helping the blue king to get down his feet was stuck to the stirrup of the horse's saddle and fall down but he get caught by a strong pair of knight's arms, they look at each other eyes blushing lightly as the moon light light it their faces.
