i was speeding down the highway, trying to get to kiyomis house before terushima tried to avoid us.
he had a bad habit of trying to skip out on punishment.
"i can't believe that idiot". kiyo said putting her hand to her face.
i rolled my eyes. "we should have told him to hop in the car, i mean i think we knew what would happen when he went inside".
"i didn't think he would actually do anything". kiyo responded.
"well- you know your brother". i said thinking of the time we were at the carnival, and terushima almost fought someone because they bumped him and almost made him drop his ice cream.

when we pulled up to her house, kiyo barely let me put the car in park before she opened the door to run to her porch.
i got out and followed behind her, entering the front door to see kiyomis mom with tears in her eyes, and terushima looking upset on the other side of the couch with his arms crossed.
"what did you do"?! kiyo said getting mad at her brother. "i stopped my mother from continuing to cheat on my father". he huffed.
"it was none of your business". ms wan said with her crying voice.
"oh please, it was gonna happen eventually". i muttered. she darted her glare at me and i furrowed my brows.
"he's gone now, so what's the big deal". terushima shrugged.
"the BIG DEAL?! he's her boss"! kiyo said picking up a couch pillow and throwing it at terushimas head.
he caught it and threw it back harder, hitting kiyo right in the face.
i struggled to hold my laugh in.
"alright teru, if you hurt my girl i'm gonna have to teach you a lesson". i said crossing my arms.
he squinted. "oh i'm sorry, i thought you were a man, i got surprised by that voice of yours".
"oh so you give head to men now"-
kiyomi pushed me to the side as she stood up and distracted her mother from what i'd just said.
"let's not get off track". she sighed.
"you two need to leave". mrs wan said stiffly.
making kiyo and terushima perk up to look at her.
"who"? kiyo asked back.
"all of you. you know what. just go. i don't care where. i don't love that son of a bitch you call your father anyway". ms wan said wiping her tears and standing up.
"of course you love dad"! kiyo argued.
"I DONT"! mrs wan shouted back, making us jump.
"i don't love that man, and i never did".
she pulled a carton of cigarettes out her back pocket, and a lighter out the front one.
"i thought you quit". terushima said disgusted.
"and i thought you wouldn't be home for another 2 weeks, but people make big mistakes". ms wan now stared at kiyomi.
she looked so hurt, and confused, and exhausted.
and i felt so bad for her.
"let's just go". i whispered grabbing kiyos arm.
she stared in disbelief as her mother lit the cigarette.
"how could you talk like that"? kiyo asked with a raspy voice, she was about to cry.
"kiyo". i whispered.
"how could i talk like what"? ms wan snarled.
"the truth"?! she asked.
kiyos eyes went wider.
"i hate you". she whispered.
"what did you just say"? ms wan asked back upset.
"i said i hate you"! she repeated screaming.
"alright that's it, let's go now". i said tugging her arm and pulling her back out the door.
"i'm leaving too". terushima said glaring at his mom with anger.
"leave my car here you failure"! ms wan shouted as we stepped out the door.
"seriously"?! terushima asked.
throwing the keys to his car in the bush by the front door.
"what a biiiiitch". he complained.
then he turned to me, and i sighed.
damn it.
"now i hate you". i screamed at ms wan, who was watching us from the door.
i rolled up my sleeve and pushed the (fuck you bitch) tattoo at her.
"right back at you whore"! ms wan shouted, flicking me off.
it almost made me laugh.
"you know what"! kiyomi shouted, sticking her head out the window.
"i'm gonna FUCK LEV HAIBA, AND IM GONNA DO IT IN SPITE OF YOUR DUMB FUCKING RULES"! she rolled up the window and put on her seatbelt.
i looked at a wide eyed teru in the back seat, through my mirror.
and then at myself who was also wide eyed.
"kiyoooo". i teased.
she turned away blushing.
"i said it in the moment". she whispered.
"yeah well that moment was literally 3 seconds ago". terushima said looking nauseous.

we had been on the road maybe 10 minutes.
"where are we going"? terushima asked looking at me through my mirror.
i didn't maintain eye contact with that rat.
"wherever i want in my car".
i snarled.
"stop catching an attitude with me"! he whined.
"how about i drop you off here on the side of the road"? i asked batting my eyes.
he pursed his lips and sat back.
"carless". i whispered smiling.
"I HAD A CAR JUST THIS MORNING"!
"no really where are we going"? kiyo asked with those sad eyes that made me feel all sad for her.
this depression shit is rubbing off on me a bit too much.
"to the store". i said.
"what store"? she asked back.
"the grocery store, to get groceries because you two morons are probably gonna end up staying at my place".
kiyomi smiled.
"would you really let us"?
"where else would you go"? i asked rolling my eyes.
"our dad would probably buy us an apartment".
i licked my teeth.
"okay so what i get lonely, you're staying with me".
kiyo looked out the window and slouched down in her seat with a bright shade of pink coming over her face.
"what"? i questioned looking out the window myself.
"ohhh". i grinned evilly, and could see teru doing the same thing.
because on the right, there was a sex shop.
