The Phone Call

After finishing their set, the Black Knights get their luggage and all get Ubers to head to their homes in the greater LA area. Blake shoots a text to his dad saying that he is exhausted and will pick up Rosco tomorrow and as he sits in his Uber his phone dings as his father responds saying he understands and to get some rest and he will see me tomorrow.

Since we left before Paramore was finished traffic wasn't as bad as it would have been so they arrived at Blakes home in the hills and he unloaded all his bags and made his way inside after almost 6 months of being gone. He immediately went in the laundry room and dumped all his dirty clothes and walked into the master bedroom to get a much needed shower before hitting the hay. As he was in the shower he heard his phone ding with a notification and after he was done with his shower he unlocks his phone and sees that Bayley must have made it back to her hotel room because it was from her on Instagram. She is wearing his hat in the mirror with a new Black Knights shirt that she got at the show and the caption reads

@itsmebayley: Had the most incredible time at the concert tonight. Paramore was awesome as always and the @TheBlackKnights absolutely KILLED IT! I even got @BlakeDuncan_BK hat he was wearing on stage!! #ParamoreBlackKnightTour

Blake smiles at this and is taken aback by how genuine she seemed in how happy she was about the show. He likes the picture and leaves a comment

@BlakeDuncan_BK: @itsmebayley that hat never looked so good as it does on you 👀

He presses send as he walks into his bedroom and lays down on the bed and instantly falls asleep before he can even put his phone on the charger. Meanwhile his comment is blowing up on Bayleys Instagram as everyone is speculating if they are dating after 2 post mentioning him and he commented on both.

*10 am The next day*

Blake is awoken by his phone ringing, but with him being half asleep he thinks it's the alarm and tries to ignore it and go back to sleep then the person calls again. He picks up the phone and sees the area code is from Bristol, Connecticut "Sorry spam call, you aren't going to get me" he says to himself as he lets it go to voicemail as he looks over his notifications seeing how he had blown up on Instagram with his comment to Bayley but seeing that she sent him a DM a little earlier this morning

"You are going to hate me, but WWE management might have seen our comments back and forth and you might be getting a call from them this morning"

That explains the number from Connecticut calling him this morning. He goes to the bathroom and splashes a little water on his face to wake him up a little before he decides to call them back. The receptionist answers and you explain who you are and you were returning the call and she asks you to hold for a moment then you hear a voice you would never thought you would hear ever

Hunter: "This is Hunter"

*Holy shit it's Triple H. The game!!! Don't freak out don't freak out*

Blake: "Hello Hunter this is Blake Duncan i am returning your call from this morning"

Hunter: "Ah Blake, thank you for returning my call, i hope i didn't wake you up"

Blake: "Oh i needed to get up anyway to go get my dog. What can i do for you?"

Hunter: "So we saw your exchange with Bayley on Instagram and we were wondering if you would be interested in being involved in a one off to move along a storyline this Friday on Smackdown in San Francisco"

*They want me to be on WWE?! 10 year old me would be shitting his pants right now*

Blake: "Well that sounds awesome but if I'm being honest i have no training in wrestling at all and i don't want to be in the way or anything"
