Dating cedric has been wonderful, each day solidifying your relationship and the love between you both growing stronger. however, you've been on edge for the past month.

cedric was picked as one of the champions for the triwizard tournament and you couldn't have been more proud. although, these tasks are dangerous and keep you on edge everytime he has to go into competitions.

it's just been announced that the final task is a maze where their skills are being put to the test. you've been dreading this day but you have faith that he'll do his best. you met up with him for breakfast before he was swiftly taken away to prepare for the challenge.

cut to tonight, the task is about to start and you're quickly running around to find cedric before he leaves. spotting him by his dad you run up to him and grab on to him tight. you peer up at him and your eyes are glossy under your eyelashes.

he senses your distress and calms you down immediately "don't cry dove, i'll be okay. i have you cheering me on so i won with it without the trophy." chuckling at him he leans down as you tip toe to meet his lips halfway. the kiss is sweet and soft as you two pull away with a smile.

you can hear him faintly whisper "i love you, forever and always" as tears slip down your face. you grab his shoulders and pull him back down and seal this moment with a searing kiss. time seems to stop and you both can hear your heartbeats in your ears.

you pull away at the sound of them calling for the champions and cedric looks at you as if you hold the stars in your hands. "i have to go." reluctantly letting go you watch him turn around and shout before he gets to far "i love you, come back to me please" he blows one last kiss your way and with a watery smile and a nod of his head "i promise"
