Chapter: 18 SURPRISE

November 4th, 1993

A few days have passed and me and Cedric have fixed our relationship. I have been visiting my dad way less than usual. Today it's my birthday. When I woke up I showered and grabbed my favorite dress. I ended up missing breakfast and I was late for my first class. Today I was going to spend my day with the people I love the most, my friends. Nothing could ruin my day! Then the Weasley twins came bursting into my room and started singing. " what the hell!" " HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" " Thanks now get out!" They gave me a sad look before leaving. Then someone came in again. " What did I say get out-" " So your boyfriend can't come in and wish you a happy birthday." I turned around and ran to him, jumping in his arms. " Happy birthday love." " Thank you." When we pulled away he reached for his pocket. He then pulled out a small box and handed it to me. " Open it." I pulled the lid off and saw a beautiful green bracelet. " Oh, Cedric it's beautiful." " I got it because it matched your necklace." I looked at my necklace on my neck and then back at him with a faint smile. " Thank you, Cedric." He then gave me a kiss on the cheek and headed out stopping right before leaving. " Hey, meet me at the room of requirement 9 p.m, don't be late." I nodded and let him leave before finishing my makeup. I walked out and head to my second class. It was useless to go to my first class when I could get detention, plus there is only 15 minutes left.

Once I got to Potions with Snape I took a seat next to where Pansy usually sits. The class had started but she wasn't there. None of my friends were. Draco, Pansy, Blaise, Crabbe, Goyle, Emily, even Hermione, Ron, and Harry weren't there, and Hermione is always at class. I just spent the whole class dosing off. We didn't even make any potions today. We just learned about polyjuice. Class was finally over and it was time for lunch. I was starving, I hadn't eaten since lunch yesterday. Dinner wasn't very appetizing and I had homework to do. I grabbed a bowl of stew. I haven't had much stew but it was one of my favorite meals at Hogwarts. They weren't at lunch either. I went to the rest of my classes and they still weren't there. Where the hell could they all be and all in one day. This was very suspicious. It was now time to go meet up with Cedric. I walked up to the seventh floor and closed my eyes. When I opened my eyes the door was there. I walked in and it was all dark. Then all of the lights came on.

(Small mention of drinking)

" SURPRISE!" They all yelled. I burst into tears, happy ones. They came rushing over. " Are you okay?" Hermione asked. " Yes, I'm just fine." " Then why are you crying?" Crabbe asked. Pansy walked over to him and hit him. "It's okay Pansy, I'm happy thank you so much." I got up and hugged everyone. " Well come and open your gifts!" Max said. Emily was the first one to hand me a gift. It was a beautiful small clock. It was amazing. We partied till there were no more drinks left. Ron the whole time was eating junk. It was now 2 in the morning and I was tired. There were only a few people awake, the rest were passed out on the floor. There was a couch and a blanket. I laid on it and pulled the blanket over me knowing that today was the best day I have ever had.
