Chapter: 3 The First Day

Pansy's pov

I ran all the way to the common room before Zabini got in my way. "MOVE ZABINI!!! NOW!" Then I saw Sophia run past me. "OH YOUR GONNA GET IT!" Zabini, still in shock moved out of the way. "THANK GOD COULD YOU BE ANY SLOWER!" Sophia was already down the hall so I sprinted as fast as I could. Nearly falling 8 times. As I came to the Great Hall I saw Sophia at the Slytherin table. How did she beat me? Blaise!

I turned around and waited till Zibini got here. Once I saw him I gave him the meanest look and speed walked up to him. "YOU, YOU MADE ME LOSE. NOW I HAVE TO DO SOPHIA'S STUPID POTIONS WORK! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU! BLAISE ZABINI GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!!! " I sprinted towards him, and I didn't stop running. I seriously hate him so much.

Blaise's pov

Pansy started chasing me which scared me. I have no clue what is going on. "AAHHHHHH! SOPHIA HELP MEEEEE!" I shouted as I was running from Pansy. I saw Draco come into the Great Hall so I ran up to him and hid behind him. "DRACO MAN HELP ME! THIS...PANSY IS TRYING TO KILL ME!" "Jess mate slow down...Okay what's wrong?" "Pansy- she's trying to kill me! Ple-please help me?!" I said panting while still hiding behind Draco. "Why would Parkinson want to kill you?" " I DON'T KNOW WHY DON'T YOU ASK HER YOURSELF!" Pansy does scare me and now I'm on her bad side.

"DRACO HELP ME!!! PANSY I'M A SORRY STOPPPPPP!" Pansy tried getting around Draco but I keep moving him. "BLAISE STOP IT I-I'M GONNA BE S-SICK!" Draco shouted at me. By now the whole Great Hall was looking at us. I saw Sophia in the corner of my eye just staring at us. "SOPHIA WIPE THAT SMIRK OFF YOUR FACE!" Draco got out of my grip so I ran out of the Great Hall hoping Pansy would be gone. But she wasn't."

Draco's pov

I walked towards Sophia, because she was sitting by herself. Also because I needed to get away from Blaise and Parkinson. "Hey Sophia!" "Hey Malfoy!" "What's going on with Zabibi and Parkinson?" As funny as it is I don't want to hear Parkinson's bickering. "Well..." She told me about what happened. "Well aren't you lucky!" "What do you mean?" I scoffed, " You lucked out...Snape gives out a lot of work, and Pansy has to do two times the amount!" "Oh yeah! Well look at the time, class is starting soon. We should probably get going." Sophia stated. "Yeah! Follow me, I'll take you to class." I offered. "We don't have the same first class." "I know...Hey what is your first class?"

Sophia's pov

I laughed to myself. "Yeah, Yeah I do...It's Transfiguration in about 15 minutes. What about you?" "I have Herbology." Draco said, rolling his eyes. "You know you roll your eyes a lot." "Oh shove off." We started cracking up. "Oh sh- were gonna be late. Come on!" I dragged him out to the hall. Then ran to the common room to grab my bag. Draco just stood there leaning against the door. "Hurry up Black!" "Oh shut it! Don't you have to be...Malfoy." I said walking past him. I could hear him running up to me. "Hey I have an idea why don't you be a gentleman and show me to my class?" "With pleasure."

Me and Draco finally got to my class. "Thank Malfoy!" Before he could finish I walked into transfiguration class. "Mrs. Black, good to see you. Take a seat next to Mr. Mandham." She pointed to a boy with black hair and a Ravenclaw to him and took a seat. " Hi!" He said. I just ignored him. As McGonagall started class I dozed off letting my mind do the work. I realized that I couldn't stop thinking about Cedric...He is nice and charming. Sophia, stop I can't be falling for him already, can I?

My first two classes have already ended and I started heading to lunch when I saw Draco with Crabbe and Goyle. "Oi Sophia, wait up!" Draco yelled, running over to me with Crabbe and Goyle following behind him like a set of dogs chasing after their owner. I just stood there waiting for them to say something. "Do you need me?" I ask. I was annoyed because Snape gave us potion homework and Pansy won't do it. "Oh uh do you want to sit with me, Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy, and Blaise?" "Whatever." As we were eating I couldn't help but notice that Cedric kept looking at me. Not like a stare, just a long glance, but multiple times. I was contemplating going up to him, but seems as that has been taken care of. Draco got up and walked all the way to where Cedric was sitting and started talking to him. Then they went into the hall. I got up to make sure that Draco doesn't hurt him. "Hey where are you going?" Pansy asked. "Nowhere." I lied, I didn't want Pansy to know that I cared for a Hufflepuff.

As I got closer to the hall I could hear a bunch of people yelling "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT-" So I speed up. Draco I swear-! My thought was interrupted by a large crowd of students. I pushed my way through just to see Draco on top of Cedric. "DRACO MALFOY GET OFF OF HIM NOW!" I shouted as blood splattered around them. Cedric had blood all over his face and Draco had Cedric's blood on his hand. Draco looked up at me but looked back down at Cedric and kept punching. So I ran up to them pulling Draco off of Cedric, throwing him onto the ground. I ran to Cedric and picked him up. "Hey it's okay. Come on we're going to my dorm." I said as I pulled him to the Slytherin common room.

That git, how could he do this? Thoughts just kept filling my brain, but my biggest priority right now is Cedric. Blood was dripping out of his nose and eye. I muttered the password for the common room and shoved are way through. We finally made it to my dorm and I sat Cedric on my bed. "Does it hurt?" "Uh yeah a bit." "Okay I will be right back." I said as I walked to the bathroom that me and Pansy shared. I grabbed a rag and wet it. I came back and saw Cedric looking around. It is just plain, we haven't had much time to decorate it. "Cedric!" I muttered, pulling his head towards me. "Hey look at me. I need to clean you up." As wiped the blood off his nose he grunted. "Oh I'm terribly sorry!" "Oh no it's okay. Um thank you!" "Anytime." "I'm completely sorry, Draco is a real git." "No it's not your fault. Um are you and him uh-" "Oh no no no no he is my cousin." "Oh I'm sorry- I just thought because he got mad when I was..." "When what?" "Uh nothing." We just sat there in silence. "I- Uh I'm done." "Thanks...Uh I should go." "Oh okay bye!" "Bye..." Cedric starts to walk out the door, but stops. "Um Sophia would you maybe like to uh hang out with me sometime?" "I would love that!" He smiled and walked off.
