Chapter: 19

Draco's pov

I didn't get Sophia a second gift though I was contemplating on it. At the party, almost everyone was there. It was now nearly 3 and the party had died down. most people were passed out everywhere. It's good that we don't have classes tomorrow. I scanned the room to see who was awake, but not many people I know. Then I saw Sophia she started to head towards the couch. I watched her lay down and cover herself up. 15 minutes have passed and I was the only one left. I made sure they were all gone or asleep before I picked Sophia up and brought her to the common room, hoping to not get caught by Filch. Once I got to her dorm the door was locked. I pulled my wand out and muttered 'Alohamora' then proceeded to place her on her bed. She looked so peaceful and I could sit there for hours watching her but then remembered that it was almost 4. I got to my dorm and laid in bed. I was so tired that once my head hit the pillow I could feel myself drifting to sleep. 

I woke up to the sound of a bird tapping on my window, it was pretty late. I slowly hopped out of my bed and threw on a quidditch jumper. The owl was carrying a stack of letters. One from Pansy, one from Snape, and one from my mom. I have always been close with my mom. It is my father who is distant. I was so excited to read it.

Hello, my love. I just wanted to know that it has been quite quiet at home without you. I'm hoping that you could make it to dinner tonight at 5 p.m. You may bring two friends. When you get here we can discuss our plans for Christmas. I can't wait to see you, don't forget to dress nice.

Who should I bring? Crabbe? No! Goyle? No! Blaise? Yes, but who else? Sophia, this would be the perfect chance for her to get to know my family and for us to get closer. Now how do I tell her? I ran to my desk and pulled out some parchment and a quill. I started writing a letter to her and Blaise. Once I was done I gave them to my owl and walked to my clothing drawer. I pick some clothes and then went to the shower. Once I was ready for my day I headed to lunch. Not many people were there considering it is the weekend and most people like to sleep in when they get the chance. I finished my food and went back to my dorm. When I got there I picked out my clothes for tonight. Then grabbed my book and laid back on my bed. Reading every word on the pages. Reading is one of my most favorite things to do. It is nearly time to go to the Manor do I got ready and left Hogwarts grounds and went to the train. Once I took my compartment when two other people joined me.
