Chapter: 4 The "Date"

It's been a few days since Cedric has asked me to hang out. I haven't really talked to him that much. Me and Pansy have been dress shopping for my hang out with Cedric. I was wondering about throwing the corridors when I bumped into Draco. I haven't talked to him since the fight. "Hey...uh Sophia, how have you been?" "I've been just fine! How about you?" " I have been amazing!...Hey uh I'm sorry about the whole Cedric thing." "Oh uh its okay...Well I'll see you later!" "Yeah bye!" That was very awkward. I headed to the common room. As I entered the room I saw Pansy and Blaise arguing on the couch.

"Hey Pans, Hey Blaise!" They waved to me. "Hey Blaise I need a nickname for you, got any ideas?" "Nope, but do you know who comes up with the best nicknames?..." I shook my head in response. "Greengrass!" Pansy got furies and started bickering with Blaise. "You guys fight like a married couple!" They ignored me so I walked past them to my dorm.

I walked into my dorm and looked around. " I think I might decorate." I went looking for stuff to decorate it with. As I stumbled through the hall I noticed a big box on the floor. I opened it and to my surprise there was paint, Paint equipment, candles, a radio and some parchment, "Perfect!" I grabbed the box and took it back to my room, not even caring who or what it belonged to. I picked up the candles and parchment. After I put them on my desk Draco knocked on my dorm.

"Hello Black, doing a bit of decorating I see!" "Yes Malfoy, Yes I am. Would you care to help?" "Sure, What color are you painting your room?" " I really don't know. I mean I just took this box from the common room halls." Draco was already standing next to me opening the paint. "I guess black, white, pink, or beige." I thought for a minute, planning out what we should do. After I had decided I told Draco the plan. "That's a brilliant Idea Sophia." "I know I came up with it." I said proudly and began painting. As we were painting I felt a splatter of cold wet liquid on my cheek. " You didn't just throw paint on me!" "I think I did." He said with a cheeky smile. So I threw paint on him and we started to have a paint fight.

It was night by now and we have finished painting. "Hey, thank you Draco!" " No problem Black!" " Well I'll see you in class tomorrow." "Bye Draco." "Bye black." He left and I felt that I should take a shower. I grabbed my clothes and a towel. I turned the water to cold because I feel better when it's cold. After I was done with my shower I got ready for bed. Then out of nowhere Pansy barged in. "PANSY GET OUT IM CHANGING!!! GOD WHY DON'T YOU KNOCK?" She shut the door. " THANK YOU!!!" "I'm sorry Sophia I just am so mad-" She went on talking about her and Blaise. I really don't care doesn't she understand that I have my own problems. Like when me and Cedric are hanging out.

A day has passed and Cedric asked if we could meet tonight at 7:00 by the quidditch field. I haven't been to a quidditch game before but yo have been to the field. It was 5:00 so I had 2 hours to get ready. I Straightened my hair and did my makeup. After I finished I grabbed my new dress and put it on. I felt powerful in this. It wasn't much. I do look good and I won't doubt.

Sophia's look-

I kept my makeup simple so it didn't look like I was trying. It was now 6:27 so I grabbed my bag and started to heed to the field. Then I was stopped in my tracks by Draco. " Hey Sophia... where are you going?" " Oh um I am going to the quidditch field to meet Cedric!" " Oh well I'll see you later." He waved at me while I left the common room. I got to the field and saw Cedric standing against a pillar. " Hey Sophia I was beginning to think you wouldnt come." I giggled a little and he started to walk over towards me. " Hey close your eyes." As I closed my eyes I felt two cold hands cover my face. He started walking so I followed his steps. Then we came to a stop. " Okay 3..2..1.." He pulled his hands off of my face and I saw a packet on the ground with a movie playing on the bleachers. " Wow Cedric it's amazing, thank you so much!" We laid down on the blanket and I started to get cold. Cedric saw me shivering so he gave me his jacket. " Thanks." We just stayed there all night.

It was the next morning and I woke up, but I wasn't in my bed. I was in a Yellow and black room. It was fully decorated and bright. The sun was shining through a small window. Where am I and how did I get here? "Oh you're awake, morning darling!" Cedric said while pulling a shirt over him. " Morning, um if you don't mind me asking how did I get here?" "You fell asleep so I brought you to my room. I hope that's ok." "Oh no It's totally fine, but if you don't mind I have to leave." " Okay I'll see you at lunch." I left his room and headed to my dorm. It was Saturday so I didn't have any classes. I just put on a jumper and a pair of joggers. Then I went out to the common room.

Draco's pov

Sophia has been gone since last night. I hope she isn't with that Hufflepuff boy. I was sitting out here in the common room all night waiting for her to come back, and she didn't. Then she came walking from the girls dorm. "Sophia where have you been?" She shook her head and sat down.. "What?" " It's funny how you care for me so much." "Who said I care about you." I lied I do care about her. She's my cousin. Who doesn't care for their family. " I was just wondering." " Well next time don't." "What's wrong? Was it that bloody Hufflepuff?" " No!" I don't understand girls. I never will, it's too hard. One day they're happy and nice and the next they are mad and cruel. " Do you want to come to my dorm and watch a movie?" I asked. I am trying to get closer to her. I didn't even know I had a cousin until I met her. " Sure why not."
