A few days after the encounter, Faye's feelings for Tyler were through the roof. She couldn't stop thinking about him. She wanted him, and she wanted him bad.

She didn't want to say that Tyler and she had a romantic relationship now, but she did want an exceptional bond with him. She had never seen that side of him before and it made her feel so special. She's pretty sure Tyler hasn't done that for anyone either.

It was a new day, Faye and Willow were out shopping as they both had gotten their checks the day before and best believe they were ready to spend them. Faye needed something new to wear, her closet was dull and she felt as if she had worn every outfit combination she could come up with.

As they were walking around the town center, Faye was gushing about the Tyler situation and Willow couldn't believe her ears. Faye being as bold as she was that night was unusual of her.

"yes Willow, and he was telling me all about how he liked me and how he never does things like this, and I was in shock, honestly," Faye explained.

"and? What did you say back...?" Willow said, anxious.

"well... I said i really liked the gesture, but, I didn't confess back to Willow. I fucked up but I don't want to start anything right now, I'm scared of this possible relationship that I might find my way into." Faye confessed.

"but don't you like him, you should just risk it, I don't think anything bad would happen. Tyler seems like a really good guy, I think you should just go with it, if something happens between you two, just stay cool"

Faye sighed at Willow's response, she really couldn't see herself in a new relationship, especially after what Royal did to her, not that she sees Tyler the same way, it's just that she couldn't risk her feelings, not again.

The two got back home after hours of shopping. Relaxing in her room, Faye was interrupted in her thoughts by a phone call. Tyler. Her heart started racing. She hadn't talked to him since he took her on that date. Not that she would call it a date, it was just a romantic gesture. She guesses.

She answered the call her hand resting on her pounding chest.

"hello," she called out through the speakerphone

"hey Faye," Tyler's voice boomed through the phone sending vibrations through her ears.

They talked for a while, small talk mostly, the tension between them was thick. Faye wanted to do something about it, but she didn't dare to say anything. She just listened with an adoring expression on her face listening to his voice through the phone. she responded with quiet 'mhms' and 'that crazys' to let him know that she was still there.

"anyways," Tyler said as he caught himself trailing off onto another topic, "I have this venue that I want to make for Travis' birthday and I want you to perform at it."

"do you have a list of songs that you want me to perform?"

"don't you have an album coming out this week?" Tyler asked.

"yeah I do"

"i want to hear something from there," Tyler said sounding excited

"okay for sure, thanks" Faye smiled at his words.

"yeah anything for you, um, rehearsals... therein like two hours if you're a rehearsal person."

"i'm not a rehearsals person but if you're gonna be there then sure I might show up."

anything for you...

Faye had arrived at the location that rehearsals were held. The stage was huge to say that least. She got nervous, but she didn't want to back out now. She didn't want to seem like a wimp to Tyler. Tyler was used to stages like this, shit his following was huge, this is the normal to him. But Faye only did small venues with the ticket sales of at most 30 people.

She spotted Tyler sitting in a chair next to some white man, he seems way older than him, maybe his 40s or 50s. He caught her staring at him, he started to walk over to her.

"hey," Tyler came in for a hug.

"hey, how you been," Faye said hugging him back tightly. Inhaling the smell of his cologne she could melt right there.

"nah I've been good,"

The two went over Faye's setlist that she came up with on her way to the venue, it was something quick. She didn't want to be on stage for too long knowing that a lot of people were going to be there. She explained that exact situation to Tyler and he look at her crazy.

"how are you going to be a singer and a performer, but have stage fright?" he cocked his head. It blew his mind honestly, Faye was such a confusing person to him. He'd figure her out soon.

"i don't know.. sometimes it hits me, like damn I really be out here making people happy just by the sound of my voice you know?"

Tyler laughed and nodded.

It was now Tyler's turn to go up on stage and practice and view his stage set up. Faye sat in one of the seats closest to the stage and looked up at him in adoration. He was so assertive he definitely had man leadership qualities. She had been caught in her own trance when the same man from earlier tapped on her shoulder catching her attention.

"you really seem to be wrapped around his finger," the man chuckled.

Faye laughed awkwardly, was she supposed to know him?

"i'm Clancy, Tyler's manager, you must be Faye? Tyler talks about you a lot."

"oh, he does, really?" Faye

"yeah he does, he I've never seem him so hooked on someone before, you seem like a nice lady for him." Clancy said throwing her a reassuring smile.

"thanks, really but I don't think it's like that right now," Faye laughed his comment off.

"well whatever it comes too, I'm going to let you know now, Tyler is a hand full," Clancy chuckled.
