Sarah pov
I groan as my eyes roll awake, squinting at the bright light above me. Soon after my eyes adjust, I notice I'm in a room, hooked up to several machines. The walls are white, and there is a window that looks out into a hallway, where people in blue scrubs or white lab coats are scurrying about. The smell of antibiotics and alcohol hang in the air, making my dry throat sting every time I breath. I sit up, and immediately I feel a wave of pain wash over me and my head starts to spin. I hold my head and groan, and find that it's bandaged up pretty good, and look at my arms to find them bandaged up as well, and I can feel bandages tightening around my stomach and back. Soon the pain subsides, and I look around the room. It's not hard to tell that I'm in a hospital, what with all the machines and nurses. I hear the door open, and look to see a man walk in. He's bald and has brown skin, and has brown eyes hiding behind a pair of glasses." Good morning, how are you feeling Sarah?" I just blink and stare at him, keeping quiet as he looks at me." Not feeling talkative? Okay, it's fine" he walks over to my bed, and he checks my eyes and then my arms, all the while I keep quiet and stare at him. Once he finishes, he writes something on his clipboard, and looks at me."Sarah, what's your last name?".....my mind draws a complete blank. I can't remember my last name......I can't remember anything."....I don't know..." His eyes look at me with pity as I just stare at the wall blankly, even after he leaves I continue to stare quietly,'...what happened to me.....why am I here.......who am I?....'
