Mr Norene's pov
I run down the halls of the hospital, panic and hope coursing through my veins making me speed down the halls. I soon reach Sarah's door and burst in, seeing her asleep in the hospital bed while the boy I saw at the police station holds her hand as he sleeps. I rush over to the opposite side of her bed and hold her other hand, tears streaming down my face. I stare at her face, a sad smile forming as I kiss her forehead. I pull up a chair and sit by her bedside for hours, apologizing and promising that everything will be better from here on out, even though she can't hear me. Then, a doctor walks in and walks over to me, looking down at me through his glasses." Are you Mr. Norene?" I nod and stand up, looking at him." Will my daughter be okay?" "Her condition is stable, and we have stitched up her wounds so she should heal within the next few months," he looks at me, and I catch a glint of pity flashing in his eyes."But, I'm afraid your daughter has sustained temporary amnesia." My eyes widen as tears form, I stumble back and the backs of my legs hit the chair, making me fall into it. I rest my head in my hands and calm myself down, looking back up at him." H-how long will it be until she gets her memory back?" "I'm afraid we can't determine what time she'll get her memory back, until then I suggest you show her pictures and take her to familiar places to help her get her memory back." I nod, running a hand through my hair as the doctor leaves. I look over at Sarah, sighing sadly." Sarah......"
