"La Regina e tornata" (The Queen is back"

Emilio could not believe his ears, she was back and the boys had seen her, he could not believe it, what did she say, did she hurt them? did they hurt her? his anger quickly surfaced at the thought of them harming her, she was their mother, he would never let his sons carry the burden of taking the life of the only woman they recognize as their mother

Or was that the reason, he quickly dismissed that thought, it did not matter, she was his to kill even the twins knew not to touch her, but only bring her to him

"What happened?" he asked, surprised by his calm voice, he listened intently as they explained the events of the day, quite pleased with how they handled that egoistic Albanian, their organization was the vilest, he listened quietly up until the part where she shot a guy that was about to shoot Ermanno

"So you saying she saved you, what was she doing there, did she say?" he asked curiously

"We don't know Pape, but she left her gun behind, she was in a sniper position in the warehouse and when we made her, she practically flew out of there" Emiliano explained his frustration coming to the surface

"We tried to get prints and also see where she purchased the gun but Marco hit a dead-end"

"Pape, mamma's different I can feel it, I don't think we will find her unless she wants us to," says Ermanno

Emilio sighed, he knew how skilled his wife was, he had taught and trained her himself, but he also knew how being on your own and survival mode can do to a person, meaning the woman he knew was now even deadlier and unpredictable, he knew he was in for a wholly different ride when she finally decides to stop hiding, his lack of trust in her intentions had him on high alert

His son was right, Iva will only be found on her terms, no matter what he did he knew how stubborn his Tesoro was, he could only hope that his youngest won't be affected by this game of cat and mouse, he then made a decision then and there, deciding to play her little game

"You are right son, I know that woman, I trained her myself, and I must admit, at this point, I am not sure of her capabilities " he paused then asked

"When will you boys be home?"

"We land in an hour," Said Ermanno

he sighed and ask the question he had wanted to ask all this time "Are you boys okay?"

There was silence on the other end he didn't bother to check if they were still connected because he could hear their breathing

"I'm hurt Pape" replied Emiliano at the same time Ermanno said

"I just want everything to be okay" he sighed hearing the defeated voices of his lions he knew this will be an impossible situation

"You still love your mother" He stated more than questioned, they nodded even though he could not see them, somehow he seemed to understand on his end

He thought, at this point killing her would destroy his family, but loving her was hurting them even more, for the very first time Emilio Morelli was at a loss

I walked down the streets of central park to attend one last meeting before I return to Istanbul Turkey, my flight was to leave in three hours and there was a deal that I had to finalize before going back, I don't usually attend these meetings myself but this one was more personal, I was already in the states so I moved my flight back a few hours so I told Demir to stay in Istanbul and take care of the business there
