"And I found berries" Clarke told the silent radio "a whole field of them. They're not very sweet, but their beautiful. I think that's what they used to make paint for- " Clarke looked to her side and paused when she saw a little girl in the field behind the vacant village she was living in. She set the radio down and stood up from her chair staring at the little girl. The girl realized she had been discovered "wait! It's ok. Wait" Clarke called after her but it was too that the little girl began running into the wood.

"Madi!" Clarke faintly heard someone yell from far into the forest.

Madi Clarke thought and began running after the girl.

"Beja!" Clarke yelled in trigedasleng hoping she'd understand "Ai jos gaf in chich yu op."
(Translation: please I just want to talk to you)

Clarke ran into a trail and noticed the little girl had stopped running and was standing behind a tree "hey, it's ok" Clarke tried to reassure the girl "I'm not gonna hurt you" she held her hands up to show she's not dangerous but again it didn't work and the girl ran off again.

"Madi!" Clarke heard the voice yell from a bit closer.

"Wait" Clarke yelled again chasing after her. "Are you alone" Clarke said "of course she's not alone" Clarke whispered to herself

Again Clarke came across the girl standing a few feet in front of her, she sighed "Yu laik natblida, sha?"

"Madi were are you!" The voice called again

"Madi is that your name?" Clarke asked her. The girl said nothing "it's ok. See you can -" Clarke cut herself off when a bear trap clamped down on her leg she screamed out in pain the little girl or Madi charged at Clarke with a knife.

Over the scream of the little girl Clarke could hear the other one yelling "Madi! Madi were are you!" She her voice getting louder told Clarke that she was getting closer.

Madi was able to stab her once but stopped attacking when she saw the blood. "Natblida" Madi whispered before turning and running away

"Hey!" Clarke yelled after her. She stared helplessly as Madi ran away, she was able to catch the slightest glimpse of the other girl but wasn't able to get a good enough look before she grabbed Madi's had and they both disappeared into the forest.

Clarke limped back to the village and went into one of the buildings she lifted herself up onto one of the tables and searched in her bag for medical supplies. She ripped to pant leg and tied a long rubber band like rope above the wound and started to give herself stitches and let herself pass out.

She woke up still on the table but realized her bag was gone. She looked out and window and saw Madi staring back at her. She jumped down from the table and grabbed a wrench to protect herself.

Clarke found a long stick and used it as a cane so she could walk to the river.

She jumped down the rocks and saw Madi standing with a spear in the water. Clarke watched as she stabbed something in the water and lifted it up to reveal a fish.

Clarke yelled after her in trigedasleng but Madi ran off again.

She sat on one of the rocks and put her injured leg into the water "last three people on earth and one of them happens to be the child from hell" Clarke said to herself but she her someone giggling behind her she turned and saw the other girl, realizing she had been discovered she turned and began running "wait!" Clarke yelled but like Madi she just continued running. Although brief it was the first time she was able to get a good look at the second girl, she looked similar to Madi but older she had her hair in two braids and her face and clothes were coved in dirt like Madi.
